Still having stomach cramps today, but thats all so far. Fingers cross i've seen the last of it and I can motivate myself back to my diet, I've already told friends we going to visit i'm doing SW and they are gonna not tempt me with too many treats.... apparently!

Denise, how do you make porridge with Mullerlight please ?.

I soak the porridge in water for about 10-15 minutes making it a bit sloppy. Microwave for 2 minutes; stir through a Mullerlight - I usually use either vanilla or banana custard but you can use any you like - microwave for another 15 seconds just to warm the yoghurt a bit. I use a 900w microwave so if yours is a bit lower wattage you might need to do it a bit longer.

Serve with some fruit on top - I usually have banana because I keep forgetting to get any frozen fruit out of the freezer to defost!

Fish & chips fronm the chippy is on average 27 syns so if shared equally you would have had 9 syns; even if you ate half you'd still be within syns.

21 Syns for a flipping salad!!!

8 more and you could have fish and chips!!!

That happened to me once I was caught out and was meeting a friend and had the tiniest slice of carrot cake in Costa it was 32 syns or something like that. I was raging what a waste - I could have had a Burger from Burger King next door for less syns that that which I would have enjoyed more than that.

Well done Tweets!! Its great to start dropping sizes!!
  • Sorry to hijack the thread because I haven't posted here for a while, but my Consultant told us it is 47 syns for fish & chips.

ooppss sorry lantanna I've just reported you as spam:o I un-spammed you really quickly so hopefully nothing will come of it!:D

Off to the hospital in a minute so just a quick one.. fell off the wagon big style last night as OH wanted pizza.. not as bad as it could have been as we made it ourselves (still doing the 100 day no takeaway challenge!)

Think I was more disappointed with my STS than I thought :(

Anyway I've got a bad tummy this morning so proves it wasn't a good idea doesn't it!!

CP - hope you're tummy cramps get better x
Lantanna - hope you're not as bloated today..

seems we all have tummy issues!

Not eating before the hospital as I don't know how long i'll be there and I don't want to be rushing to the toilet - not hungry anyway as i'm still stuffed from last night.. but will take an alpen bar with me just incase..

Will be having gnocchi bake and salad for tea so not sure what i'll have for lunch :(

it's a meh day today - must be the weather :o

Hope you're all well and will catch up when i'm back - I see there a few brilliant losses again :T:T

    Morning All,

Some great losses this week. Well done and keep plodding everyone else.

I tried the overnight oats and WOW, they are really lovely. I usually soak my porridge in water overnight and then microwave it for 2 mins in the morning before adding chopped fruit and muller light. The overnight oats are raw, but the yogurt soaks in and makes them much more creamy. Really tasty with some defrosted berries.

No it wasn't beanie. Delighted to say I had a 3lb loss!:D Obviously yesterday's fish & chips hasn't caught up yet. I'm having an off plan lunch today and then it's back on it seriously for a couple of weeks.

It was all Christmas music, jumpers, decs etc at my group but I had to weigh and go. Some of the tasting bits looked yummy though. I did pick up the new magazine to read later.

I don't see any on the website that large but maybe she's talking massive portions. Good to see you posting BTW.:)

That Morrison's salad surprised me too. It's amazing what passes as 'healthy'. I can only assume it would be oil in it that pushed the syns so high. Not that there's anything wrong with oil as such but there are healthier ways. Which reminds me I should be eating more salmon and sardines, haven't had any in ages.
