Posted this in the wrong place first - whoops!

Had a slight gain of1.5lbs last week due to emotional overeating/drinking. Anniversary of my mom's death.

Feeling brighter now and back on the plan with vigour, but I made a booboo today. Saw Alpen light on sale - 2 packs for £2 and thought, brilliant, they are HExBs!!! Only I was remembering old, old info, I believe and they are 3 syns each instead.

Oh, but so much better than the cakes and pastries that someone bought into the office this morning for their birthday. :A

    Thank you Ginvzt!

I try to remind myself what I have done is amazing all the time lol. Its is easy to get caught up in the quest for perfection. But as you say so correctly you just want to be you! And the best version of you!

I was watching This Morning yesterday and they had a bit on women who are totally depressed by what they see in the mirror - very sad!

Get rid of those chocs : )

And yes the boobs don't seem to go down - for me, you & Mildredd anyway - I know of some people that have lost their boobs.

You will get into those clothes keep telling yourself that. I have never been smaller than a big 14 before and not for very long so I am totally having to start from afresh with the wardrobe.

Maybe I will set myself a little non scale target this week and get rid of 5 items of clothing that are too big - I can do that!

I like your target! Maybe I can join you with non SW targets and promise to myself that I will go for a run this week. At least one run... And a swim on Friday as long as we all stay healthy. (and we have a swimming course for kids on Saturday - this weekend is promising to be nice and warm here, so maybe we can go to play in the park with the kids too, or maybe the zoo if I can persuade OH)

Thank you Denise, I obviously still haven't got to grips with lots of things on SW. I am going it alone and didn't even know there were more healthy extras other than milk cheese cereals and bread!
Meg has posted links to the the Healthy Extras for you.

I need to post my meals so someone can check for me.

    Yesterday I had
GF cereal, milk from allowance - HEA1/HEB1
    two apples satsuma
L: bowl of salad with 25g cheese - HEA2 - you can have 30g of cheese or 40g of reduced fat cheese
    D: veggie chilli with rice
    S: GF toast, 1 tsp flora, 2tsp peanut butter - HEB2

    Today
    B: scrambled egg, plum tomatoes
    L: vegetable soup
D: veggie sausage casserole 2 quorn sausages, 2 syns
HEA milk from allowsnce - HEA1

You don't seem to have any HEBs in today's menu. You are supposed to have 1 or 2 HEA plus 2 HEB each day. Perhaps you could have some Ryvita & cheese this evening for supper to have the extra HEs

Forgot to say that I have 4weeks until I go away on holiday to visit my son in Florida and I want to be a bit thinner for that plus had blood test and I am prediabetic!!

I've made some comments about your menu plans for yesterday and today. You should also have some syns each day - between 5 and 15.

A lot of people, including me, find that weight loss seems to be better when having the full 15 syns a day.

Have a good read of the first post of the thread where it explains how Slimming World work.

Hope you find my comments helpful.

    Denise
  • Morning - thanks Joedenise. I never have all my syns so will try that this week.

Pleased to report a STS today - after a week away it was a miracle!!
We are away again this weekend too so I'll have to try and be better.

Haven't read back but hope you are all well. x

I'm getting really panicky about throwing away my size 14 clothes and size 12 trousers - what if I do go back up I'll have nothing to wear!!!! And I have some lovely things I would hate to have to start all over again - having a little freak out about this - but I really need to sort out the clothing issue!! Selling on Ebay didn't really work out profitable for me at all. I should just bite the bullet and get them off to the charity shop but I'm scared : (

Its all a bit strange getting near to where you want to be and then realising that's it now you've go to maintain - its a bit scary you don't really think of that when you are focused on losing!!! This is me forever now. In my head I'm a size 16 and then I catch sight of myself in mirrors and think my god your tiny.

I'm still running around in Size 20 PJs at times - I kind of think whilst there is wear in them I am wearing them - no one sees me lol. Also I will convert them to dusters and cleaning cloths before they hit the bin!! Its the MSE in me!! ! lol

For anyone struggling or just beginning - look at me, started a size 20 and obese and now I've a healthy bmi and size 10 / 12 and never ever in my wildest dreams did I think I would get here - I just thought I was always going to be at least a size 16 and that was just my build so keep going!!

This post is exactly how I feel. I started SW at a size 18/20 and am now a size 12 but in my head I still think I am a size 16, it is like my head hasn't caught up with my body. I still am wearing PJ's many sizes too big but they are comfy and as long as the string is done up at the top I don't really care.

I am now at target but am toying with the idea of lowering my target another 0.5 stone, will have a think about that one.

I have seen in the list that yome of you have targets - what is the deadline for these targets? Is it end of November?

We are going to a Centerparcs in France on November 21st, and I would love to have a few pounds off... We have prebooked 4 dinner out, and we are going with the friends, where wife is vegetarian, so I hope not to have too many nasties...

It is my birthday too next week, and I am having a cake, no matter what. So, I am probably pushing myself, but I am going to go for 10lb loss from the starting number for my November 18th Weigh In. that is in 5 weeks and I need to get 8,5lb off in those weeks!

No, you're okay :) They changed the recipe a while back but as long as you've got the 70cal ones you can have 1 or 2 as an HEB, or you can syn them.

When I started SW I had to promise my hubby I wouldn't lose my boobs :rotfl:
