I have lost track of everything, even this thread and whether or not I reported my sat WI. *sigh* Don't hold much hope for tomorrow. Something has to change, I have to find the time to get this right.
Awful when you feel like that. I was feeling exactly like that for a while there - but I get you just have to try and get yourself motivated again - think about why you want to do it and where you want to be say at Christmas.
Take a little rest as well and give yourself time to recharge the batteries and get yourself in better form and then attack, attack with gusto!0 -
Woo hoo Mildredd has turned a corner and is happy!!:T
And I am delighted for her and hope that 2015 sees me turn a corner both job and man wise! General work / life balance I guess.
People please don't beat yourself up about Christmas - its only one day or two if you count Boxing Day. I will definitely be having non SW Roasties & pigs in blankets.
One good thing for me is with living on my own I don't have the leftovers etc in my house so there is less temptation but as I think I've said before I am treating myself to a big bag of crisps and some dips.
We will get weighed on Christmas Eve so that will work out quite good for me.
So I wasn't great last Thursday, Friday and on Saturday I was very very bad a had breakfast out and a Chinese  I honestly felt like I had a food hangover on Sunday!!
Been trying to make up for this now and been on a speed soup concoction!
Please let me see a loss on Thursday. Fed up messing about now. I need to get to target for Christmas and I need to be able to put a couple of lbs on over Christmas to enjoy some drinks, chocolate, crisps and dips and at the moment If I did I'd be back to my scary weight in a flash so I am taking action now!!
B: Fat free greek yogurt with oats, cinammon & blueberries
L: Speed Soup, Chicken Breast, Cherry Tomatoes, Mange Tout, Gherkin, bit of fetaSpeed Soup. Beef & Onion with Veg & Splash of gravy
Snacks: Grapefruit, Blueberries, Watermelon, WW Yogurt
No idea what is going on with my signature0 -
Wow, major well done due to b_e_g! and to ginvt on a great start :T
Poohbear, we are happy to help, but it might be worth you looking on ebay because loads of people sell their books when they stop SW. Will give you lots of ideas for HEB. To be honest the HEA are pretty much milk & cheese.
I have an evening WI (tonight) and I generally have my usual meals but try to keep the syns down during the day, then have dinner and treats when I get back home. There's a lot of people hit the hi-fi bars after they have weighed, normally including me!
I think the official policy of SW is you shouldn't bank your syns, but then they talk about 'flexible synning' for special occasions. Many people do it
I made this https://www.facebook.com/notes/slimming-world-recipe-share/chickpea-dahl-loaf-free-on-ee-and-green/436716596350950 for tea last night. Really quick to put together. I added some herbs and tomato puree. I'd thought to prep some courgette and peppers and kind of make a terrine thing with it but couldn't face it after a long day so I did a side of various veggies lightly cooked in frylight.
My husband is a bit addicted to cheese (and slim despite it) so I also added cheese in layers. It's 4 portions so was an HEA for what I had. He put extra cheese over all his food...:heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

Crabapple
I too am addicted to cheese I love it and would happily not eat any other syns as long as I can have cheese
I eat a lot of cottage cheese now which I never would have before - its worth a try in recipes and only buy reduced fat cheddars now and don't miss the full fat stuff at all now.
I noticed Asda has Garlic Bread with Mexicana Cheese on it  now - how nice would that be but how many syns!
Talking of Mexican has anyone had the Heinz Fajita Beans yet??
I have decided the best Christmas present I can give to myself is to be at target. 10 weeks to get there. I am doing this!
Not sw related but MSE related I have been looking a new foundation for a while but having not liking the last couple I've bought and not really being able to justify the expensive No7 one I used to use anymore, yesterday I hit Boots on a search for ages!!!! Came back with Rimmel True Match I think its called and it is a success! Even better when you spend a £10 in Rimmel you get a free mascara worth £7.99 which I needed as well. So I got a concealer, foundation (which I actually) like and a mascara all for £10.99 - woo hoo. So today for the first time in weeks I have just realised I have make up on in work - hopefully she's on her return after feeling meh for weeks on end!
Feeling pleased with my haul. Also hit Primark and everything I tried on in a Size 12 for the top half fitted - some things a little too big.
Got a jumper for work, a scarf, 2 vest tops and a blouse to be worn under a cardigan and some new socks. All for 21 quid - again very pleased with myself. I also picked up some Size 8 - 10 pjs in Asda - very warming though before you get excited I had to buy a sports bra in a 36 F!!! so some parts of me are def not small and are never going to be lol!!
Trying to buy a little each week as I really have nothing and now that the colder weather has hit I'm kind of in dire straights!
I'm getting really panicky about throwing away my size 14 clothes and size 12 trousers - what if I do go back up I'll have nothing to wear!!!! And I have some lovely things I would hate to have to start all over again - having a little freak out about this - but I really need to sort out the clothing issue!! Selling on Ebay didn't really work out profitable for me at all. I should just bite the bullet and get them off to the charity shop but I'm scared : (
Its all a bit strange getting near to where you want to be and then realising that's it now you've go to maintain - its a bit scary you don't really think of that when you are focused on losing!!! This is me forever now. In my head I'm a size 16 and then I catch sight of myself in mirrors and think my god your tiny.
I'm still running around in Size 20 PJs at times - I kind of think whilst there is wear in them I am wearing them - no one sees me lol. Also I will convert them to dusters and cleaning cloths before they hit the bin!! Its the MSE in me!! ! lol
For anyone struggling or just beginning - look at me, started a size 20 and obese and now I've a healthy bmi and size 10 / 12 and never ever in my wildest dreams did I think I would get here - I just thought I was always going to be at least a size 16 and that was just my build so keep going!!0 -
It is not even 10:30 yet here, and I am so peckish! So tempted by a choc! In the meantime had some grapes, satsuma, eating a banana in a hope to avoid the choc! i have the mini kit kat (2 fingers) and the small size twix finger... Maybe I just give in for the elevenses....
am I write that these are about 5 syns each? (they are smaller than normal size twix or kitkat bars...)Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -

Glad to hear you bounced back too! Sometimes does all seem a
bit overwhelming when you can't see the wood for the trees and you don't have a plan or the means and motivation to figure out exactly where the next meal is going to come from.
I had another good day so far:
B. Yoghurt, with raspberries and a banana
L. Cottage cheese, salad and a few five grain type crackers of similar provenance to Ginvzt i.e. lurking in my desk drawer. (7 Syns assuming 20 cals per syns but I've had no hexB)
D. HM Chilli Con Carne (loads of veg and kidney beans) & Rice
Snack: Apple

You sound amazing - please stay around and remind us it is possible!!!!! I am size 18 now. 3 years ago, before I got pregnant, I went down to size 12, and felt great, I still have my clothes from those days hoping to fit in one day, as i love them.
In my head I am still size 14 - and when I catch a sight of me I get scared and I hate any pictures of me. Which is sad, as I don't have many pictures with my children at this age for this reason. I can't stand the sight of me.
My sports bra is 36H, as are most of my bras, and I what I learn from befor, the cup size really doesn't go down with the weight loss, at least not for me... I was 32J at one point... A pain when trying to buy clothes that don't look like a bag on you. so, although not very MSE, I still order lots of things from Bravissimo/Pepperberry. At least they look decent and have space for the extra on top!
I found some of my old photos from when I met OH, and even though I thought (and was told from small age by people close to me) that I was fat, I now know that I was perfect - I was size 10, had healthy BMI of 22.3 and weight 9st6lb. I wasn't as skinny as some of my friends, but I was healthy. I guess with being told that I am fat, I just went on with it... I guess I wasn't as skinny as my mum when she was young (early 20s) and was just 7st 7lb at 5ft 8", but then I don't want to be my mum, I want to be ME!
So, thanks lantanna for your post - it was just at the right time, and the chocs are back hidden in the drawer. I keep offloading them to the colleagues, so hope can get rid of them soon and jsut stick to the free fruit we have provided at work.Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
