Hi everyone been MIA for a few days, but haven't done too badly meal wise. Yesterday was slightly off plan as we were at the Pickering Vintage weekend. Had a packed lunch of, marmite sandwich (white bread as forgot to get wholemeal out of freezer), Sainsbury savoury popcorn, Alpen lights and bananas. However did have 2 pieces of liquorice fudge, 1 stick of liquorice and 2 slices of toast once I'd got home as I was too tired to make anything for tea. Did manage a few dances and a little bit of walking so some body magic to mitigate the syns hopefully.

WI this week was 1lb LOSS SHALA

    EE Menu:

B: GF cereal & BD milk. Tea with milk.
D: Roast chicken, SW roast parsnips, mashed potato(2 for butter), 4 x veg, gravy(2), stuffing (2). Mixed berries. Decaf coffee with milk.
T: J. Pot. & refried beans. GF Pink wafer (3) Gf choc finger (2). Tea with milk.

    S: Cocoa.

    Christmas

Will be Christmas lunch as usual but with the addition of a Yorkshire pud. I'm planning on trying out a Rhubarb Tirimisu (made with Stevia and quark) so keeping syns low.

I will try to make a few SW treats for tea ie. brownies but will not be counting the syns too closely.

For OH and I, I intend to get freddos, fingers of fudge and other SW friendly treats for our Christmas stockings (everyone in our house gets one). I would get sugar free sweets too, but OH eats them all at once and then is never off the loo!

I don't drink much alcohol but this year I'm making some sloe gin so will treat myself to a glass or too of that.

Tonight I am cooking SW Middle Eastern Lamb & Vegetable Pilaff from the EE All in One cookbook ..... That book is my absolute favourite.
    It is FREE on EE.

I haven't made this before but it looks delish.:)

This turned out very nice. I overdid it slightly with the chillis, will cut down next time.

    Morning all (just) :o
    Well done losers :A
Hope the poorlies are feeling a bit better and those that are feeling down for whatever reason a BIG cyber hug :A
We have the winter vomiting bug doing the rounds as well as the cold/flu bugs. Trying to keep bug free but my colleagues seem to come get me when there's anything to clear up :p.

Anyway For Shala - WI gained .4lb could (should) have been much more what with last weekends chip n dip fest.
    Also having tummy issues too.
Think I'm eating too much rice pudding, love it though! Could live on ready Brek and rice pudding (not in same bowl :rotfl:).

Here's to a fresh week and sticking to it, keep the faith all :A:A
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Well done on the losses :T

Hugs to the poorly people. I'm joining your ranks with an ear infection. I've never seen my actual ear swollen before, hurts quite a bit :(

I accidentally bought a pack of croissants when I was in Tesco getting my antibiotics cos I wanted to make myself feel a bit better. So far one gone into toddler and half of one in me. I make no promises about more...

I also picked up a pair of jeans in the next size down though, cos I only have one pair that fits at the moment and that's getting loose (but at least not falling down when I walk!). I can't live with only one pair of jeans - my baby is weaning and he manages to get his food absolutely everywhere :D

Nicest thing in the world at the moment, I had a bath a few weeks ago and was amazed to not be making tidal waves in the water. Normally do showers cos I don't have much time, but had another bath last night and it was wonderful - there's room beside me so I can top the hot water up and swoosh it round me without moving! It's the simple pleasures in life that make SW worth it :j

I think that's what you call a NSV (Non Scale Victory) crabapple. A bit of pampering is good for feeling good about yourself and motivational in that it spurs you on to want to get the buzz from losing even more weight.

Good to see you tie. Hope that sickness bug keeps well away from you.

    Have a super Sunday everyone.

I found this about Success Express meg

    Step 1

Have three Success Express meals a day. At each meal, follow the 2-to-1 principle. Fill two-thirds of your plate with superhealthy Superfree Foods. Then on the other third of the plate, have your choice of Free Foods (from any choice). For example, have a jacket potato and tuna (1/3) with a huge side salad (2/3), or rice and barbecue chicken (1/3) with Superfree vegetables (2/3)– without weighing or counting.
    Step 2

Add one or two Healthy Extra ‘a’ choices and two ‘b’ choices every day. You can add your Healthy Extra to meals, for example by having a sandwich made with a third of a plateful of ham, two thirds of a plateful of salad and two slices of wholemeal bread from a small loaf.
    Step 3

Between meals, enjoy Superfree Foods (fresh or frozen fruit and vegetables). You can add Healthy Extras to snacks too.
    Step 4

Where Syn values differ, count the higher value.

If you like swede and carrots they are quite useful for making a SF mash to help cut down on potatoes.

    My EE plan for today:
B: NAS Ribena, baked beans, HEB toast, HEA milk for teas
L: probably JP with cottage cheese, spring onions and beetroot as I enjoyed it so much yesterday
D: Hairy Bikers' braised steak, onions, roast potatoes and parsnips, cauli, carrots, cabbage
Syns: scrape of spread on toast, maybe 0.5 syn for the gravy and may have a spoon of horseradish plus weekend wine:j

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/braised_steak_with_gravy_24508

This recipe is amazing. If you substitute frylight for the oil then there's only 1 tsp of cornflour between four people for the gravy.

    Good afternoon everyone
Had a quick read through and it appears you lovely peeps are still losing
Had friends over last night and I cooked a full SW Chinese meal with panacotta for dessert ( which was not that good tbh) Chinese though was a success. I had 4 glasses of wine and about 4/5 syns from recpies so although I'd cut back on Syns Friday I will have none today. I really want another loss this week so I'm trying hard to watch my Syns. Did a 6.5 mile cycle ride this morning and I did run one from week 4 of C25K yesterday so my fitness is improving massively.
Really want to get my 5 1/2 stone sticker this week :)
    Keep going everyone
    Enjoy rest of sunday

Please can I rejoin you all? I got a bit stuck and bored and gave up. I haven't really put any more weight on, but I certainly haven't lost anything. I miss the chat and the support here so if I can just tag along so that I get the hang of things again, that would be great.
