Just thinking I was wearing some oversized PJ bottoms too this week but fortunately mine have a drawstring waist so no potential embarrassing incidents.

They're really comfortable slopping about clothes. Perhaps I'll treat myself to some new ones that fit me properly.;)

Made a SC full of beef and vegetable soup today, will portion it up and freeze tomorrow so got an option for lunch as the weather turns colder.

    Kettlebells my review
Okay so I was expecting to just swing the little bell around and come out all buff?
I didn't factor in warm up :/ so jogging and twisty jumps I've not done those since pe lessons - the warm up basically was what I used to do as a child in gymnastics class really (why I'm so surprised about a warm up actually happening I don't know!!)
Kettle bells is actually the first class exercise I've ever done
It was what I think an aerobics class would be like but factoring in a weight and some dodgy moves like pelvic thrust which I'm ashamed to admit made me giggle - annnnnd thrust *cackles*
I also thought its a day class everyone will be old there so it'll be gentle and nice - big mistake :/
Lots of lunges and squats and arm work which although it killed me to the point of being unable to get back off the floor after a nappy change for mini me, I actually left feeling good - exhausted but good.

Sooooo I've signed up for next weeks class again. Will stick with the 4kg weight and just push myself more?
Hopefully ill get in the gym for cardio thurs and fri as well.
Apart from walking to and from places as I don't drive that's all the exercise I do :/

Maman - definitely not saintly date nights but its going nicely :)

Re clothes - I sold all my unworn stuff on those Facebook selling pages they have?

Well, Saturday evening went a wee bit wrong. Daughter and sil came to watch football, so we had Indian take away instead of planned steaks. There were 3 different main dishes, 3 rice, 1 naan and a wee box of mixed pakora between 4 of us. I had less than a quarter share, so it could have been worse.

    Today I had
Breakfast: hexb porridge made with water and salt
Lunch: wholemeal roll (6 syns), mayo (1 syn) cooked ham, tomato, ML peach light fruitopolis (0.5 syn), orange
(I was carried away sewing so had this at 4.30pm!)
Dinner: steak, onions, mushrooms, baked potato ((made by OH, so oil used – 3 syns), Hartley’s 10 jelly (0.5 syns)
Snack: mint choc biscuit (6 syns?)
    Total: 17 syns

Congrats on losses Top Girll and durham.

    Hello Inazuma, CountingPennies and Phoenix01.

    Monday's Menu
    Breakfast:boiled eggs & hexb soldiers
    Lunch: lentil soup (eventually), fruit
Dinner: cherry tomato & hexa parmesan frittata

All the best for a successful day.

You're not kidding maman - I spent all day Saturday in mine and then yesterday I decided I wouldn't feel so sorry for myself if I got up, bathed and dressed (which I did) but had a quick visit to check in on Mum yesterday afternoon and as soon as I got back (around 5pm) on with the pjs :D. Have been looking at the fluffy top things to wear with pj bottoms but I don't think I would like one with a hood.

Well the second lot of washing is on its way now - yes even at this early hour - preset last night to come on early this morning. Have been lying awake, tossing and turning so I thought I may as well come downstairs, drape washing around the house, get the heating turned up and get the next load in.

  • Just to let you know there has been a bit of a breakthrough in what I am starting to wear. Tried a dress on at Matalan the other day and was sort of semi impressed but the sizes they had in stock were either too small or too big so I ordered the missing size online and its on its way. Friend is dying to get me into dresses and thick tights but atm I just haven't got the confidence. To make the purchase even sweeter - 20% off online not instore ;)

I also picked up the top which quite appealed to go with leggings - which are another new addition to my wardrobe ;).

    And .......... I got some fab tunic/dresses from George - fab value at around £10 - £12.

Debating about one of these coats - size 22 fits, looks nice but not a great deal of spare room and size 24 is maybe a tad loose but room for a jumper so I'm still debating - I will leave it too long and when I go back everything will be out of stock. :rotfl:

Second load of washing just about finished so I will sort that and then get into bathroom before DH and then try ringing gps for appt.

Sorry for rambling - I will leave you all in peace now :D

I have two "bear" tops as i call them - i live in them... so comfy and snug! one is a pull on top with a cowl neck and the other is a cardy type with a hood. Love the hood for when my ears get cold and the cowl neck for when my nose is cold :rotfl:

Welcome back Inazuma, welcome CountingPennies, Phoenix01 :D

OH and i had a chat last night and we've decided that next year we're off on a big holiday and we need to be thin for it as the plane seats aren't particularly massive and i'd like some nice photos of us  so i have 11 months to lose 46lbs and maintain which is doable for me. I know a lot of you would lose that in a few months but i'm a plodder, so i'm here for the long term - sorry to bore you all :rotfl:

    So starting off strong today..

B - banana, yogurt, muesli (heb)
L - potato skins, salad, pickles
    T - sausage casserole(2), onion gravy (2), mash, carrots
    S - crisps(5) milk in tea (hea)

Morning everyone! My ear infection can do one. Barely slept last night because of the pain, paracetamol isn't cutting it any more but I'm restricted on what I can take while breastfeeding.

Just hoping the spray and antibiotics the doctor gave me will kick in soon. Feeling sorry for myself quite frankly :( To make things worse the antibs are already having one effect. Not sure if it'll help me lose weight if nothing is staying in that long. Sorry for the tmi :o

I'm going to make the chickpea dahl loaf for dinner. I've had it before but only at my mum's so I've never made it. Kept looking for the tins of chickpea dahl but apparently they are always somewhere weird! Mum gave me a tin she had spare.

Worried that I will fall asleep if I sit still too long (toddler would soon solve that anyway) so while I was lying awake last night I made myself a massive list of housework to do. Should be some BM in all of that!

Welcome CountingPennies and Phoenix - and many congratulations on your pregnancy and your weight loss so far Phoenix. Don't be too hard on yourself if you get cravings or whatever, there's always afterwards to get back on the SW wagon! My eldest forced me to drink loads of chocolate milk during the third trimester :)

Shala - don't worry you won't bore us! Nice to have a goal of something lovely to look forward to.

I need to get myself a lovely warm jumper to slob around the house in now!
