Lantanna - great attitude!!!!!! And remember - muscle weights much more than fat, so all the exercise and the tighter body probably means your muscle mass is actually increasing and replacing the fat. Which is the best outcome, as apart from being heavier, muscle also burns more calories!!!!! Good news all around!

Thank you its the only attitude I can have or else I go insane lol

Defo time for the winter recipes too come out. Quite looking forward to saying goodbye to salad for a while !

We discussed this in my group today.

Ironically I don't find the actual Christmas holiday a problem at all. The roast dinner, all the cold meats and pickles, lots of satsumas, turkey curry, bubble & squeak, Full English, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs....none of that's difficult to make SW friendly. What I do find really hard is the lead up to Christmas with all the nibbles at parties. I know it's possible to make SW friendly nibbles if it's your own party but when I get invited out it seems to be loads of bread, crisps, pizza slices, samosas, spring rolls and other disastrous things. That's when I need to be strong.

When I was getting to target, I lost 5.5lbs over the Christmas holiday but I didn't get SoW as I was just losing what I'd gained in the lead up.

I agree. Xmas Day is relatively easy and I always make my own stuffing with rice, celery, herbs etc. Which is SW friendly.

I've got a SW book called Christmas Made Extra Easy and there are some lovely recipes in there. Also there's a new Xmas book coming out very soon, the consultant said last night.

It's the nibbles for me too .... Like cheese, crackers, pork pies, mince pies, bread sticks. Alcohols never a prob as I don't drink but must be difficult for those who do.

I was in Lidl the other day and as you enter the first aisle, either side is full of tempting stuff like chocolates, biscuits, cakes, fresh bakery, sugary cereals and so on.

I shot down there without looking and getting tempted, did all my shopping and got to the till and felt peckish. there were some tiny, innocent looking bags of fruit and nut mix. There were just a few nuts and some dried fruit. I figured they had got to be better than a chocolate bar ..... WRONG!!:(.

The bag weighs 50g and is Montedos whole foods fruit and nut mix and confusingly the traffic light symbols give readings for HALF a bag:(. So you double that up and my consultant worked that out at a massive 13 syns!!!:(

Pennylane, I also saw all of those things in Lidl and the Kingsize Toblerone in particular was calling my name but I managed to ignore him!!!!!

What is everyone planning to do over Xmas re SW. At the moment I think I am going to take Xmas Eve, Xmas Day and Boxing day off.

Last Christmas I had what I wanted on Christmas day and Boxing day and then got back on track as I weighed in on 27 December and I had put on 2.5lbs. I am currently at target and will probably do the same this year as if I spend too long off plan then I think it will be harder to get back on the wagon.
    Officially debt free :j

I put on 1.5 over Christmas last year and 1.5 the following week.

I only really had my Christmas Dinner off - didn't have too much alcohol at all but did treat myself to a massive bag of crisps to have one night whilst watching a film - posh ones - think I had a dip as well.

I have lost track of everything, even this thread and whether or not I reported my sat WI. *sigh* Don't hold much hope for tomorrow. Something has to change, I have to find the time to get this right.
