I do envy your DH going to the England game. So many of our (I say our but most have been sold on) players might get a game tonight but I'll make do with the TV.

I'm not in the least envious as I can't stand football! Just pleased to have an evening on my own with a glass of two of red and the TV!

Well that resolve didn't last [STRIKE]long[/STRIKE]! I had a bit of running around for the family this afternoon (between 2 towns and our village), so DH, who was also on the school run, brought home fish suppers. In mitigation, he knows I'm trying to be careful and just brought 1 fish supper and 1 single fish. So I had a few of his chips, and the single fish (which I shared with our cat) with some beetroot. It's still an epic fail :(

So Friday's menu - as far as I know, there should be no diversions at all - will be

    Breakfast:bacon hexb sandwich
    Lunch: leftover veg frittata
Dinner: salmon, mash & veg, Hartley's 10 jelly (0.5 syn)

Fingers crossed (that way I can't pick up anything else).

Just had my toasted cheese sandwich and thoroughly enjoyed it. Definitely like Green days for the extra HEA/HEB.

Just a thought, wiz, but as there's probably only limited bacon in the soup you could call it a Green day. Then you can definitely have another HEA and the bacon and the HiFi could make your other HEB or you could syn the bacon and have another full HEB (toast?). Just an idea when I saw the veggie sausage.

You should have given the batter to the cat and eaten the fish!;)

My DH suggested a meal out or fish & chips after the cinema tomorrow as we're going to an earlyish screening. Being saintly I've declined and will make a SW friendly meal at home.:D

SNAP tazzy - well nearly identical numbers to me - I need 4 off to hit the 16's and I too was in the 21s in March. Looked at the graph online and going as I have been I could hit the 15's by the end of the year  I know its still a big number but its a lot less than it was. Go girl - we can do this. ;)

    b_e_g

    We can!

    Thanks maman and tweets.

My aim for Christmas is to be in the 15 stones. As close to the number 15 as possible.

What is everyone planning to do over Xmas re SW. At the moment I think I am going to take Xmas Eve, Xmas Day and Boxing day off.

    Great loss Anne

hea - skimmed milk, reduced fat chedder

We discussed this in my group today.

Ironically I don't find the actual Christmas holiday a problem at all. The roast dinner, all the cold meats and pickles, lots of satsumas, turkey curry, bubble & squeak, Full English, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs....none of that's difficult to make SW friendly. What I do find really hard is the lead up to Christmas with all the nibbles at parties. I know it's possible to make SW friendly nibbles if it's your own party but when I get invited out it seems to be loads of bread, crisps, pizza slices, samosas, spring rolls and other disastrous things. That's when I need to be strong.

When I was getting to target, I lost 5.5lbs over the Christmas holiday but I didn't get SoW as I was just losing what I'd gained in the lead up.
