  • Morning all can I join the slimming gang please I have a personal goal of 20lb off by New year but anywhere close and I will be smiling x

Morning Aloofdragon and welcome to our merry band of losers. :hello:

Regarding Christmas - I was planning on booking a 12 week countdown on Monday and as I understand it, if you plan on taking holidays during the countdown, you need to tell them at the start of countdown otherwise you will lose any classes you miss. So, do I book 29th December off and have a little break or do I attend and it - might just rein things in a little if I am straying too far off track? makes my head hurt at this time of the morning. :D

Morning everyone! Welcome aloofdragon and congrats on the losses tweets, mupelle, beanie & penny :T

I know what it's like when you don't lose what you want or expect. I'm sure sometimes no matter how good you are it won't shift and other times when I've been a bit naughty somehow I've got a good loss?

I find I have expectations and get annoyed if it's not what I thought even if it's still a loss, and need to focus on it being a loss to add to the total :) Last week with my 4lb I was expecting 1 or 2 so was really shocked. This week I was disappointed with 1 because I honestly expected 2. Silly really :rotfl:

I went to start Christmas shopping yesterday. I thought about buying the chocs and stuff for people then decided I would probably eat it if it was in the house! Got to hope we won't get given too many biscuits and sweets and I shouldn't have a huge gain. Might treat myself to something nice in pastry for Christmas dinner though :D

    We can!

    Thanks maman and tweets.

My aim for Christmas is to be in the 15 stones. As close to the number 15 as possible.

What is everyone planning to do over Xmas re SW. At the moment I think I am going to take Xmas Eve, Xmas Day and Boxing day off.

    Great loss Anne

    Green day for me today

Breakfast - bran flakes and skimmed milk
Lunch - super speed soup and cheese toastie
Tea - mushy pea curry with extra veg and rice, fat free yoghurt

Snacks - apple, melon, fat free yoghurt, velvet crunch

hea - skimmed milk, reduced fat chedder
heb - bran flakes, wholemeal bread

    Syns - velvet crunch 5

My Christmas will be just the same as any other day :)

I am one who hates Christmas :xmassign: :( :rotfl::rotfl:

Mum will be visiting and DS normally visits for a couple days. I will be making Christmas dinner but no drinks don't drink. No cakes hate Christmas cake and pud may have some mince pies in for mum and DS but I don't like those would rather eat a juicy Satsuma :) So I don't think I will gain :D Bah Humbug :rotfl:

Hope you get down to the 15 stone mark or even better into the 14 stone ;)

My DH suggested a meal out or fish & chips after the cinema tomorrow as we're going to an earlyish screening. Being saintly I've declined and will make a SW friendly meal at home.:D

Definitely being saintly not having a meal out or fish & chips. I'd of opted for the meal out as I really don't like the chips from the chippie - they always seem to be soggy - I'd much rather have my SW ones at home! A meal out on the other hand is quite easy to be good - jacket pots, steaks, carvery etc.

b_e_g - If you can't make your mind up book the 29th as holiday and if you decide you really ought to go and get weighed then just go and the holiday will be overwritten. At least that way if you decide not to go you won't have lost a week.

I'm having another Green day today:

B - Scrambled eggs on toast
L - jacket potato & beans, with a bit of cheese on top (cooked an extra potato last night for DH to take to work and he didn't take it!)
D - mixed bean goulash (from freezer) with rice

    So not much cooking today!

HEA - milk in tea throughout the day
    HEB1 - bread
    HEB2 - cheese

Have plenty of fruit to snack on.

Good morning! Well done on the loses!

And hello AloofDragon - I too joined here this week. I need to lose way more than 20lb though - I think long term goal would be 50lbs or more. I need 40lbs to get to the pre-pregnancy weight. I would love to get rid of 20lbs by Christmas time!!!!!!!!

    B: Porridge, Banana
    L: 2 boiled eggs, toast
D: Roast pork, hope for loads of veg

Snacks: Melon, 2 pots of flavoured quark (0.5-1 syn each, I guess, need to check)

HeA: Milk in the porridge and some more in tea or coffee later
    HeB: Porridge, Toast

Edit: add 2 syns for the tic tacs I have just ate....

    Morning,

    High on Pineapple this morning!

    Not on life sadly lol

1.5 gain for me Shala please

I was asked last night had I lost my mojo & no I certainly have not. My stomach is looking better than ever and I can actually see the thing going back in lol

Also my posture is much better and I feel much tighter and that my belly isn't hanging out as much anymore!

So I am not getting disheartened. The scales would tell me I've 7 lbs on in 4 / 5 weeks. However I am still in my size 10 trousers ( I was still in a 12 when I was this weight before).

I changed my exercise routine and have introduced CX Works twice a week and Step Aerobics so I am going with the fluid surrounding muscle theory - I am feeling the burn and I can feel everything getting tighter.

So I will just plod on and see what happens!

All is good whilst I am in these trousers and the belly is shrinking ! :rotfl:

At the end of the day its the only bit of me that bothers me now so if it is going and looking better then I am happy!!

Lantanna - great attitude!!!!!! And remember - muscle weights much more than fat, so all the exercise and the tighter body probably means your muscle mass is actually increasing and replacing the fat. Which is the best outcome, as apart from being heavier, muscle also burns more calories!!!!! Good news all around!
