Congrats on losses tweets, beanie and penny.

Maman, it was special fish, so no batter, just breadcrumbs – and cat won’t eat them! Hmmm, seems she’s got the right idea, lol.

    Hello, Aloofdragon

Well done, lantana, on your positivity. You’ve put in perspective that it’s not just about endless weight loss, it’s about being comfortable with yourself too. I think you’ve cracked it!

I am so close to 'sod it' tonight. all week and much of last we've been fighting off infections in this house. No energy, no sleep, no appetite.
I have lost track of everything, even this thread and whether or not I reported my sat WI. *sigh* Don't hold much hope for tomorrow. Something has to change, I have to find the time to get this right.

beanie's right. You've got as far as posting so you're starting to get back into the mind-set. As soon as you feel stronger and up to eating, work on a SW friendly meal plan and shopping list. We're starting to think ahead to Christmas, you'll be well on track to join us. :)

:hello:dragon. Your loss is very doable for Christmas and well done for sorting it before it got out of hand.

I had a good day until a slice of toast tonight. :( Just thought that it might have been a very expensive snack if I have to pay £5 at group next week!!:rotfl:Plus my favourite BIL called suggesting a meal out next week as a belated birthday celebration for DH. Best laid plans....

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB porage, HEA milk
L: LO chicken casserole (minus chicken;))
D: Szechuan pork (peppers, spring onions, mushrooms, beansprouts) with noodles
Syns: squirt of syrup and I think it's 1 or 1.5 syns for half a pouch of noodles AND weekend wine syns:j

All was well and planned until the toast:(

Oh dear Swiper - I feel your pain and am very close to 'sod it' too. My day so far hasn't been great: I forgot to weigh myself and went out for coffee with a friend, which ended up being lunch and probably best we don't even try to count those syns. Now my dinner is not going to be quite how I planned it and I don't know what I'm going to have. :rotfl: Worse still I have also realised that I didn't actually buy the chicken that was meant to be dinner for tomorrow and Monday.

I'm going for a rummage in the freezer to see if I can somehow turn this around before we venture too far down the spiral and eat something else I may regret later.

Morning all... Not thinking about Christmas here.. I'm bound to put on half a stone and at the rate I'm losing it means I'll just put everything I've lost back on!!

So I'll ignore it for now and keep plodding on, because better to lose what I can now then gain 7lbs back than think sod it it now, there's no point and just gain 7lbs without losing it in the first place IYKWIM..

Swiper/kiwi... Sorry you're struggling, it is hard not to be tempted but remember why you were doing the plan in the first place. I'm not the best "on plan" person but I keep going, because what's the alternative

Had a good day yesterday :D and hoping to have the same today.. We have pulled pork for tea (my fave) and lots of salad to use up...

    Menu
Brek - poached egg on toast (heb)
Lunch - apple and walnut salad, cheese (4)
Tea - pulled pork, sweet pot wedges, corn, salad
Snacks - aero mousse (4), milk in tea (hea)
    Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.

Just a quick post. I'm having an EE day today as much easier at the weekend.

    B - bacon, egg & mushrooms
L - ham & salad sandwich (HEB) LTL mayo instead of spread (0.5)
D - stuffed courgette - another large courgette from the garden! Will stuff with the japanese meat sauce I used last week

HEA - milk in teas throughout the day

Not sure of syns at the moment.

  • I have had a bit of a semi-off plan few days due to having some bad news about a friend this week. One day I barely ate all day then had a big dinner of wraps, had a takeaway one night, yesterday I had chips for lunch. But I did limit the damage and I think I was within syns or just over. One big change I have noticed is that pre starting SW this time around 11 weeks ago I would have binged on choc, cake, bread etc when feeling down but I've not been interested this time. So hopefully that's a lifestyle change.

Did have one happy moment when my OH told me he could see that I've lost weight :j:j and I've only lost just over a stone! :D.

Helloooo everybody, it's been a hard week, with a sicky sicky doggie, she had a reaction to anesthetic from eye op, so soz that I haven't been about and haven't said the right things to the right things (you know what I mean :D )

    Today is :

    B: 1 toast marmite, banana
L: 1 toast smoked salmon, scrambled eggs, mushrooms
D: Baked Salmon, mushrooms and peppers with SW chips and baby carrots, baby corn, mange tout.

    Nom :D I love fish :D

Tomorrow, I think I'm going to make a like toffee & chocolate mess, like an eton mess but with toffee yoghurt and choc shot mixed with quark and then meringue, or something... I shall report back :D

Hope you're all having a lovely weekend...

  • Have been icky sicky for the last couple of days :( Struggled yesterday to keep water down. Think its an reoccurring problem so looks as though it will be a trip to the docs on Monday. Will try to keep up with posts - skimming the ones that mention food :rotfl:

b_e_g - If you can't make your mind up book the 29th as holiday and if you decide you really ought to go and get weighed then just go and the holiday will be overwritten. At least that way if you decide not to go you won't have lost a week.

Thanks denise - why didn't I think of that. I thought that once a holiday had been booked that would be that. If I do it the way you have suggested I will be covering all bases.

    Take care everyone
