We've got taster session next week denise. It's to launch the Christmas season and the suggestion is we all wear Christmas jumpers. Fortunately I can only weigh and go next week.;)Thanks Beanie Maman and Shala I didn't know I could amend my target but have decided to take Mamons advice and have real good try to do it. as I know I will feel I have failed if I give up.
I aim to start on Monday as have meals out again this weekend
which is lovely and I don't want to worry about syns.
So you may not get that elusive 1.5lb this week but so what. Enjoy your meals and then try and get a good run at it.
WI for me today and I've gained 2lbs.:(Still in my size 10 trousers and that's all that matters
I'm taking heart from what you've said lantanna as it's only me that knows, I don't look any different. I haven't been to WI for a month so what with my holiday and family birthdays 2lbs isn't bad but it's the first time ever I've gone out of target range.I'm only a pound over so I need to work on my meal plan. I've not got a meal out until next Thursday so I'm hoping I'll sort it easily.
My EE plan for today:
B: NAS Ribena, baked beans, HEB toast, HEA milk for teas
L: veggie omelette with ham and pickleschicken casserole (onions, leeks, mushrooms, carrots) with new potatoes, cauli and broccoli
Syns: scrape of spread and tbsp. (shared) of cornflour in casserole
Burgen loaf is almost gone, so back to 'official' HEB then. That can't have helped.0 -

Maman - Glad our consultant doesn't expect us to wear Christmas jumpers - I haven't got one!
Well done on only 2lbs on in a month. That's really good and as you say it's doable to get back into target, particularly with no meals out all week.
I looked at your menu and laughed when I saw "veggie omlette with ham and pickles" and thought how on earth can the omlette be veggie if it's got ham in it, LOL, then realised you meant you'd have your veggie omlette with some ham and pickles separate:rotfl:.

Yes, I thought it was an odd way to write it too, glad you understood what I meant to say! It was a case of making what I could from what's left in fridge (shopping day tomorrow). I made a sort of Spanish omelette with potatoes, peppers, a few mushrooms and onions then had it with a slice of ham and a pile of cornichons. Probably barely a third SF but I'll make up for it later with my supper.
Meal plan all sorted for next week.;) and I'll be delighted if I lose a pound mupelle.
I do envy your DH going to the England game. So many of our (I say our but most have been sold on) players might get a game tonight but I'll make do with the TV.0
