Jock - HM stands for Home Made. I assume you were referring to my dinner tonight: "HM chicken breast stuffed with garlic butter ". This just means I'm stuffing the chicken breast myself - I haven't actually made the chicken breast, LOL.

Good result for you then meg :)
    How much to target?
    1 1/2?

Yes just 1 1/2lb to go, its nothing at all but I just cant seem to get as motivated as I was. Trouble is I am really quite comfortable
with this weight and am not really trying. although I would like to stop paying my £5 just to get weighed.

Re SW online, I did it online for 6 months and now I am going it alone (well not really because of this group) and not having any problems.

1.7 lb off for me Shala

I have another 3lb to lose and I hit the 16 stone bracket. I find it amazing to think how far I have come as I started in the 21 stones in March.

I am just about half way with my weight lose now. Please with how far I have come but it still feels like such a long way to go.

I faffed about for weeks just a pound or two off target and then one week I really got it together and went below. My consultant will never forget it as she went on maternity leave so she missed my big day! Why not try a big effort next week, perhaps meal plan a version of Success Express by upping the SFs?

That's a brilliant amount to lose since March tazzy:T. Try to forget your final target and set some achievable mini goals in between. Perhaps where you'd like to be by Christmas?

SNAP tazzy - well nearly identical numbers to me - I need 4 off to hit the 16's and I too was in the 21s in March. Looked at the graph online and going as I have been I could hit the 15's by the end of the year  I know its still a big number but its a lot less than it was. Go girl - we can do this. ;)

Welcome to the gang ginvzt, redbull08, callyb :hello:

Well done to jock & Co on fab losses, SOTW and shineys :T

Re the scan bran jock as someone has already mentioned it is available in Holland and Barrett and the price is the same as SW. I enjoy the Pumpkin and Oat Ryvita these days - Ryvita is much improved these days in my opinion. I understand there are some new varieties of Ryvita available that sound tasty but I haven't been able to track them down ........ yet :D

Welcome ginvzt! I remember your name from the pg thread a couple of years ago. We'll help all we can, this is a lovely friendly thread :)

First of all - well done on SOTW!!!! I remember your name too from the thread - how is your (not so) little one?

Welcome to ginvzt - not to discourage you from joining online but why don't you try it on here for a week first and see if you can manage without spending so much money?

Thanks! I am going to try and do this without the online membership. I do have the books, some magazines, and hopefully, your support and kicks up the backside. I used the mighty Google before to find things, and I am turning back to it again.

I have some magazines from before, and I might consider getting some again - I used to love reading the stories and getting new recipies. I have a few recipe books from the 'old' days, will be digging those out.

So, my meals today after the breakfast:

L: HM veggie burgers (freezer emptying, and they are quite healthy, as home made and I don't like using much oil)

D: attempt at 'kedgeree' - rice with egg and smoked fish, as I realised too late we had no peas or sweetcorn in the freezer, followed by melon.

    In betweens: banana, grapes.

And my guilty pleasures today - quarkini (sweet doughnut like thing made with quark, my husband's fault....) with coffee and a bit of ice cream at the end of the day....

So, I haven't done too well, but made a step foward. I made some hummus tonight and got ready veg (carrot and cucumber) sticks to snack at work tomorrow. Lunch is offered by the company (we choose our takeaway out of selected restaurants, so will try to choose clever), so need to be extra good for the rest of the day.
