Up early this morning as have loads to do, including going shopping - desperately need some more fruit.

    Having another EE day today:

B - scrambled eggs on toast; banana
    L - HM carrot & lentil soup
    D - Lamb tagine, couscous

HEA - milk in teas throughout the day
    HEB - bread
    Syns: weekend wine

Won't be posting for a couple of days as going away and unlikely to have internet access.

Awww my Lola is a rescue too, we've only had her 6 months! Poor little love has to have eye surgery next week :(

Poppy is so cute :D (the dog, although I'm sure Pink Poppy is too!)

Durham Min I am in awe of your talents, I can't even sew a button :rotfl:

My menu has been weird today as my tum has been playing up so no superfree at all... ho hum... I shouldn't have talked up my tum being good ha ha

B: Toast, 5 g of peanut butter, flora light (2)
L: Cous cous, chicken (threw the peppers & gherkin out as tum was sore)
    D: Eggs, sw chips.
S: a fan wafer, nice and plain for my tum and maybe a yoghurt....

    I'm pretty hungry lol :D

Hopefully tum will be back to normal tmw :/

Have you tried going gluten/wheat free? Major trigger for tummy probs. Have a look at the FODMAP list, lots of IBS food triggers. All trial and error to find which are yours.
I am gluten/wheat intolerant as well as garlic. Finding other triggers as I go along and the list is getting longer too :(.
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

  • Morning.
    Today's menu
    HE a milk
    HE b weetabix
B weetabix, banana and muller mixed in
    L chicken salad
D bacon and courgette pasta ( making a proper cheese sauce so probably 8syns for flour cheese and butter and milk. 1pint of sauce shared by 4 of us)
Would love to say I'm having wine syns with gogglebox tonight but on antibiotics for a tooth abcess so can't. At least our meal out tomorrow for daughters birthday will be less synful than previously thought. Struggling to eat anything that needs much chewing and/or is crunchy. I'm fed up, this is the second abscess in a year that I've had and only had the treatment for the last one completed two weeks ago. To save the tooth I need root canal treatment and a gold crown. Blooming' expensive too!
Enough of the pity party! Off to slurp my weetabix......

Well am back to SW after a break of nearly a year. Shocked at how much I weigh again and have GOT to get some off. Last summer I bought some lovely new clothes which I couldn't get into this summer so it has got to stop.

We have a shiny new consultant who seems very nice and really knows her stuff so fingers crossed.

Started the day with Overnight Oats, banana and raspberries. that's just my healthy B gone so far.

I am also cross that I have got to lose the weight I regained before I start losing even more weight.:(:(

Pennylane that's exactly why I can never go completely off the rails or stray too far - the thought of putting all the weight back on again frightens the life out of me.

It is a battle and sometimes it is much more easier than others but you just have to keep going. Well done for coming back and deciding to take hold of it again. So frustrating I know.

Lantanna .... I am in awe at your massive weight loss! :T:T

I think what frustrates me about going to group is that some people lose like 3 or 4 lbs a week and it takes me weeks and weeks to lose that amount. I don't drink alcohol, don't eat bread, don't eat biscuits or crisps. I use sweetener all the time and only ever drink skimmed milk. I cook SW and really enjoy the food.

I think my weight gain is down to small extras like unmeasured bits of cheese, then a couple of crackers, using cream instead of fat free yoghourt on summer fruits and so on. I don't for example sit and eat tubs of icecream or bags of sweets but all the little bits add up. :(

Pennylane I think we are all different and what works for one doesn't necessarily work for another. I know with myself if I ease back on the carbs I will have a loss - whereas if its a free for all with them (as I am at the minute) I will maintain or possibly gain but then I know people that can eat them in big quantities and still have big losses.

I guess it is about finding out what works for you? I will never completely cut out carbs coz I don't believe in omitting whole food groups and I need them when I am going to the gym and also heck I enjoy them.

Maybe you need to mix it up a little - try different things, different recipes etc - our bodies can get used to things so easily and that's generally when things refuse to budge! Maybe try different veg with your dinner, try different breakfasts etc. When I'm totally on it and driving a loss I do this and it generally works.

Thank you - sometimes I forget coz I got my 6 stone award in April so it now feels like I have been like this for a long time.

I feel like I've lost weight but I can't comprehend the 6 stone lol Its all a little mad at times.
