Evening all :) Spent a lovely day making accessories for my 1940's outfit. Feeling really pleased with myself. I bought one of those 'furry' throws from B&M and out of it I made a fur wrap, a muff and a fur hat. What's more I had enough left to make another set for my niece who also loves vintage stuff.

    EE Menu

B: GF cereal & BD milk. Tea with milk.
L: Speed soup. BD rice pudding. Tea with milk.
D: Spag Bol (5% mince + lots of veg). Frogga (5)

S: GF Pink wafer (3), 2 x Gf choc fingers.

    Well done, MupElle and tweets.

    Hugs to those under weather

Lantanna, I know where you’re coming from. :(

Clever girl, durham. And all that sewing would keep you away from naughty food ;)

Thursday’s Menu – after a reasonable start, it was not good in the end :(

Breakfast: porridge made with water, splash hexa milk
    Snack: choc digestive 3.5
Lunch: bacon sandwich (2 big slices whole mealbread – groan!), tom sauce (1), mixed berries, Twix finger (?????!!!!!)
Snack (waiting for DGS at swimming pool) from machine: Bounty
Dinner: macaroni cheese (!!!!!!), spring onions, tomatoes, chips (!!!!!!!!!!!!), strawberries and 2 scoops ice cream

I think we can call that an epic fail! And I will have another snack later. Oh and I've just remembered I had 3 or 4 Werthers too, so that's another 4 syns :(

I’m putting it down to 3 things –
    a) I didn’t make a menu plan for this week when I was feeling rotten (no excuse for not making one once I started to feel better)
    b) I’m trying to use what I have in the house and only buy fruit/veg this week and there really isn’t much SW friendly stuff left.
    c) now that I don’t have access to syns online, it’s as if I have licence to ignore them.

And tomorrow I am out for lunch again.

    I need help.

Poppy is so cute :D (the dog, although I'm sure Pink Poppy is too!)

Durham Min I am in awe of your talents, I can't even sew a button :rotfl:

My menu has been weird today as my tum has been playing up so no superfree at all... ho hum... I shouldn't have talked up my tum being good ha ha

B: Toast, 5 g of peanut butter, flora light (2)
L: Cous cous, chicken (threw the peppers & gherkin out as tum was sore)
    D: Eggs, sw chips.
S: a fan wafer, nice and plain for my tum and maybe a yoghurt....

    I'm pretty hungry lol :D

Hopefully tum will be back to normal tmw :/

Do you have the print out PDF of Syns? If you don't I have it in PDF format, you could stick it on the fridge :rotfl:

I've not actually been to an event yet, but a couple we met at ballroom lessons, go to several all year round (they started ballroom so they could join in the dancing). We are hoping to get down for a day to the one between Pickering & Grosmont just to see what its like. Hopefully I can convince OH to go for the whole weekend next year once we have a few outfits sorted out. I would love to be able to do that as we'll be able to join in the dancing on the evenings.

I haven't sewn anything since I was in Sixth Form (over 30 years ago) when I had supervision from the teachers, so just trying to remember what I was taught.

I've also made a skirt but unfortunately that is still a little too tight - an incentive to keep losing weight.

I try to vary my HEBs a bit which seems to work with shifting a bit of weight when you seem to be losing slowly. This is often one of the challenges our consultant mentions - ie trying to have a completely different HEB (or 2 if doing Green day) every day of the week. There are so many choices for HEB it's a good challenge to do from time to time.

I get a better loss if I vary my HEBs

    Well done crabapple

    aww cute dog tweets

2.6 lb off for me this week shala

Need someone to give me a talking to about exercise. I know its not necessary with the plan but I was getting better results when I was doing some but at the moment I just cannot get the motivation.

    EE today

Breakfast - 2 x wholemeal toast, scrambled egg, beans
Lunch - five bean chilli, salad, garlic bread
Tea - pork chop, potatos, cauli, mushy peas, gravy

Snacks - apple, fat free yoghurt

Sysn - garlic bread, gravy, tassimo creamer pod -OVER SYNS!
