I'm thinking of re-joining SW next week, can I join in on here if I do? I did it years ago and have drifted back a couple of times but not stuck to it - I cant eat the 1/3 superfree due to severe IBS but SW have confirmed by email you can do it without just that it would be slower.
Has anybody else managed to lose without 1/3 superfree?
    TIA

    Hi,paganflossy,and welcome.
I joined SW about 3 years ago and reached target(2.5 stone) without being very serious with superfree foods. It is only since joining this thread a couple of months ago that I have started doing 1/3 SF,and the weight does go faster(had re-gained about 10lb over the summer hols due to stress,it is all gone now).Hope this helps.

Your friend knows you are thinking of her & why you cant go in so dont fret.
I too have the cold and am so tired I could sleep for Scotland.
Have eaten badly all week so will be another gain for me this week I think.

Cant believe it is now October already!!!!!
I dont like the dark nights.

Thanks Beanie I need that hug, I know I am being a daft old sod, my friend told me :rotfl: Shes back home but is not allowed visitors yet so I couldn't go anyway. Her daughter is going in every day but cant take the grandson which is upsetting my friend
hes only 3 and keeps asking his Mum why he cant go.

Bless her though she made me laugh, apparently she has anti bacterial she has to spray around her when her daughter goes,
hand sanitisers, 21 tablets to take a day and has had to cancel her newspaper and let her daughter deal with her post as paper can carry a lot of germs, Apparently her Consultant told her she must follow these instuctions totally as if she gets another infection it will mean her Chemo is stopped again and time is not on her side, she told him she would be good and do everything he tells her but asked if she still allowed to have casual sex. She said he nearly choked but laughed when he realised she was joking.

Anyway I felt better after talking to her and have eaten better today. Had a lovely dinner of trout baked with mushrooms and tomatoes with Cauli, broccoli and carrots which I got reduced 45p for the trout and 10p for a big bag of the veg, used half the bag so 50p for a really nice meal and as I bought 5 packs of trout and 5 packs of veg so plenty in freezer for another time.

    Hi Paganflossy :D

I have GERD, IBS and slight gastroparesis, I was very VERY dubious whether SW could work for me, because I can't eat fruit (I can eat bananas, about 4 strawberries and maybe a slice of melon, depending on the day not all on the same day lol), no wholemeal, oats, cereal, beef and little veg. There are a few veg I can eat if they're cooked really well, or if I'm having a good day, so I have stuck with them or soup. I have lost 9 lbs (hopefully 10lbs by tomorrow) in 6 weeks which I'm SO pleased with, I also have the additional complication of no exercise, as the condition I have that causes the tummy problems also causes joint issues! I'm lucky if I can walk 10 minutes a day on a good day.

So YES it will work, I'm really happy for you to pm me anything, if you want help, support or advice that would be better in private :):)

Well done to all of you for losses, WI tmw for me, I think after my 2.5 loss last week, I've stagnated booo hooo :( Anyway we'll see tmw.

    Today:

B: Toast, marmite, flora light (1/2)
L: Couscous, chicken, peppers, gherkins. (1 due to packet stuff)
    S: Banana
D: Chilli with rice and gherkins (i've got a gherkin obsession at mo, and they don't hurt my tum!)
    S: Mullerlight toffee

It works out about 1.5 syns, I'm being crazy good today, hoping I might just squeeze .5 lb loss... I have everything crossed and held in :D
