Maman - I really wish we had a Home Bargains near us. I used to go there when my DDs lived in Yorkshire every time we visited, there always seemed to be bargains to be had. We have a Family Bargains about 20 miles away which is similar but I don't think there prices are as good though.

I only noticed one had opened here by chance. it's in an old Comet shop. Puffed Wheat was 75p by the way.

Oh dear and I was jumping for joy 'cause I thought I knew what to do now. but I was wrong... Again I will have to keep posting in case I get wrong again.
I will change my bacon to beans so no more Syns will that be ok ? And thanks for keeping your eye on me x:).

You're doing very well wiz. If you think of Green as a vegetarian plan then any meat either has to be synned or in some cases can be a HEB (not sausages or anything processed). Like denise said, beans is fine.

:Tlots of great losses, well done all!:T And that's an excellently small gain for such a long holiday denise.

That's a super list of health benefits too lioness. I feel smug for eating so healthily.:)

    My EE plan:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB Shreddies, HEA milk
    L: JP, tuna, pickles
D: liver & onions, carrots, potatoes, cabbage, peas
    Syns: spread on potatoes, gravy

:T for our Losers, notably shiney MupElle and tweets.

meg – sorry you have the rotten cold.

shala – hope you found lots to keep your attention on your computer screen

MupElle, I wish I’d had the sense to do a favourite syns list before I gave up my online membership :(

    Thursday's menu
Breakfast: hexb porridge made with water, splash of hexa milk
Lunch: scrambled eggs, 1 slice wholemeal toast (3 syns), Rowan Glen 0% fat strawberry yoghurt
Snack: wanted choc biccy, but had nectarine :A
Dinner: 2 Linda McCartney rosemary & red onion sausages, baked beans, mashed potatoes made with splash of hexa milk, banana

So, overall quite a good day. I may have an orange club biscuit for supper . I think it’ll be about 7 syns, but I’m sure someone will let me know if I’m wrong (please).

    Good luck all.

    Evening all
Been busy busy with work. Have slipped back into bad habits and eating too much rubbish- there's always a biscuit tin or cakes about at work and there's a vending machine in the reception area where I work! I could feel my clothes getting tight and obviously haven't been at the gym but have spent two mornings lugging medical notes about so I think that's helped. I went shopping after work and I bought a top in the Lipsy sale I had had my eye on- they only had it in a 12 but to my surprise it fitted! Also bought a pair of size 16 jeans from there- I thought they would never fit but they look nice on. Have bought a kimono cardigan thingy to wear over the top and am going to wear them with my new suede boots when I go away next weekend.
Going to post today's menu cos its virtuous :D I didnt go to group this week as I was unwell with my anxiety and depression but will be back next week.
    Menu:
B: 3 kiwis, cup of coffee with HEXA s/s
S: mini rocky road bite (3.5 syns)
L: leafy green salad with BM tikka chunks, 2 easy peel satsumas, apple, can of caffeine free diet coke
T: 2 LMC Rosemary and red onion sausages, 2 quorn cumberland sausages (2 syns) uncle bens mexican style rice with lime (2.5 Syns) steamed mixed veg, caffeine free diet coke, 2 cherry fruitopolis (1 syn) HEXB Alpen Light
    Syns: 11
    Night all xx

  • Really need to go shopping soon.Running out of good food.

    Breakfast;1 apple

Lunch:butternut squash and red pepper soup

Tea:I was, very last minute, invited out for tea ("wanna meet in about ten minutes?" sort of invitation).Well,I had huntsman chicken, which I had never had before, and didn't know what it was.Oh,it was beautiful. It had syns in it,but it was gorgeous. So,now I am on a mission. How can I make a SW-friendly-ish huntsman chicken?
The thing about it is,it was served on a bed of "double pepper relish",soooo tasty. Now I thought the barbecue flavour came from the relish, but one google recipe said the "huntsman" part of the recipe included "your favourite smokey bbq sauce".
I do like the thought of getting superfree from double pepper relish .
Can anyone help me construct a huntsman chicken recipe with double pepper relish?

Didn't have dessert with my meal, but did have nacho for entree, and onion rings and chips with my meal

Tonight had 2 chocolate rice cakes

    Had daily allowance of milk.
