Back in 2008 when I first followed the plan, it was 1A and 2Bs. I'm still working from that book. It's been working for me so far this time and I'll probably stick to it until a more up to date book comes my way, but it would be nice to be up to date, just in case I'm missing out on something better.

Thanks to everyone who's commented for me.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news wiz, but you'll have to syn that bacon (or Ryvita or cereal whichever's the lowest).

Succumbed to some cheese tonight but hopefully most of it offset by my HEA as haven't had much tea today.

Took a trip to our new Home Bargains today. They had Puffed Wheat @ 70p ish (sorry can't remember the exact price). That compares with on offer at £1 in Asda and £1.35 everywhere else. Puffed Wheat is very bland (a bit like plain popcorn) but you get masses of it for the 35g HEB. I enjoy it with a sliced banana or some strawberries or raspberries. They also had jars of sliced mushrooms which were fine in a casserole as I didn't want to get fresh ones. Oh and jars of cockles which I love but not to everyone's taste.;) Certainly worth a visit if there's one near you.

    Oh well done you.

I have woken up with a cold this morning, sore throat and headache
so wont be shopping today as planned. Breakfasr was to be banana chopped apple and yoghurt but don't feel like eating so put it in fridge for later.

Cant decide whether to put a stew on for dinner or just have something quick like bacon and egg, beans tomatos and mushrooms.

Maman - I really wish we had a Home Bargains near us. I used to go there when my DDs lived in Yorkshire every time we visited, there always seemed to be bargains to be had. We have a Family Bargains about 20 miles away which is similar but I don't think there prices are as good though.

It's WI this morning (haven't weighed for 4 weeks) so expecting a gain but hoping to still be in target as I managed to get to bottom end before I went on holidays.

    Having a Red day today:

B - banana after WI. May also have an Alpen Light (0.5 HEB)
L - LO spicy butternut soup, 1 slice of bread (0.5 HEB). May also have some smoked salmon & salad as there isn't much soup left
D - chicken & salad in mini pitta bread (HEB2)

I have DD1 and DGD coming for dinner so they and DH will have wraps (don't think any of them would appreciate 1 mini pitta, LOL, they always have 2 or 3 wraps each.

HEA will be milk in tea throughout the day.

Not sure about syns yet but probably a fruit split lolly (I really missed these while I was on holiday!)

Back this afternoon with how WI went.
