Aww,everyone has been sooo lovely, thank you,Lots of encouraging words to hold onto.Everyone has been brilliant, thank you.(I have bookmarked the last couple of pages, and am going to keep reading back on them).
With regards to "ablutions" before WI,when I get to class,I always squeeze out one last wee, then take off shoes, jumpers, coat, keys and mobile.I don't go as far as one lady I met a couple of years ago who used to go to class just as the consultant was setting up,and before official weigh-in time. She used to strip to her bra and knickers THEN stand on the scales
:rotfl::rotfl:.
And yes, mupelle, you lot did make me laugh this afternoon, thank you.
Does anyone here eat differently/lighter if you know you are weighing in later in the day? Can't think of a worse time to weigh-in than Monday night .

Hi all
Sorry I've been AWOL but ive been really good and running etc
Happy to report 3lbs off tonight 😄😄😄
Well done to everyone who has lost and keep going to maintainers and gainers, I'm sorry I've not had time to read thread but I do pop in and read a bit. Well done to FROGGA on your SOW last week :j0 -
Thanks maman - I can see where you are going with listing your food. I have tried (and succeeded) to write down all eats and drinks today. The only thing is after a while I get a [STRIKE]bit[/STRIKE]lot lazy with my scribblings but I am going to make a special effort. It only dawned on me today that I am 4lbs off getting my next 4st shiney - would love to think that would shift at next wi but I daren't even think about that.
Hang on in there saverupper - we can do this.
Well done Annie fab loss and to all the other losers. :T
Hugs to you beanie xx
DH has confessed to secreting grated parsnip into the mince in Cottage Pie tonight - already had tons of veggies in it. I think he thought he was upping my sfs - but I told him they aren't on the list but they do have a HH and F next to them so can't be that bad. We also had cabbage, carrots and marrowfat peas with them. Mind you have have been rubbing my tum all night with windy pains - sorry for tmi :rotfl:

STS for me again, but was expecting a gain so was pleased
BUT we had planned to go to the Harvester after I thought steak, baked potato and salad would be ok, only it was fully booked when we got there so went to Pizza express enough said, well over syns.
Oh well tomorrow is another day as they say, just might be that I will sift this 2lbs by Christmas.Slimming World at target0 -

So glad you're sounding a bit brighter.:)
I have a morning WI but I think what matters is that you try to control as many variables as possible. On WI day I have my lightest breakfast (HEB Shreddies) and always wear similar clothes. Generally jeans and top but I always take my shoes/scarf/cardi off. We had a woman who was adamant she had a heavy watch so she'd to take that off too! On the rare occasions I go to an evening WI I still wear the same clothes (unless it's really hot and can get way with less) but I have my dinner after WI.blue_eyed_girl wrote: »Thanks maman - I can see where you are going with listing your food.

My listing my food diary in columns worked for me but you do have to be honest with yourself and take portion sizes into account. So no equating a massive jacket potato with a single cherry tomato!;) It's lovely that your DH is so supportive but you're right, parsnips aren't SF. Strangely, carrots are so he could try grating those in another time.
meg I was fortunate that I managed a meal in a Greene King pub. Really yummy steak, mini jacket potatoes and a salad with a very light citrus dressing. The only obvious syns were in a coupe of onion rings they substituted because I passed on having sauce. Disappointingly they had a new autumn/winter menu advertised with no jackets just buttered new potatoes.:(0 -
he'd grated carrots too to go with onions mushroom and a tin of tomatoes

b_e_g - does your hubby think you are a toddler who needs veggies hiding in all your dinners:rotfl:
Well done on the losses greentiger, justthetwoofus and annie :T and major well done to jellybaby and saver-upper on SOTW!
Hugs to those who gained or STS, and to beanie, hope things get better soon.crabapple, I've had that problem with wedding rings too. Could you wear a dress ring on top of it to hold it on? It really doesn't seem worth having it resized until you get to target.
I don't have any dress rings - I really don't do jewellery apart from the wedding ring. I might just buy a ring to wear for the moment that's pretty much the same. I wasn't really joking that much when I said about £20 - it's a plain silver band and wasn't expensive, it's just that it's my wedding ring and I'd prefer to wear it.Saver-upper wrote: »Aww,everyone has been sooo lovely, thank you,Lots of encouraging words to hold onto.Everyone has been brilliant, thank you.(I have bookmarked the last couple of pages, and am going to keep reading back on them).

So glad you're feeling happier about things! So many lovely ladies replied and good that they've made you smile
I took my shoes off this week at WI - normally don't bother but I figured I would need the extra help. I lost 0.5lb - must be heavy shoes!! That just squeaked me to my 2.5 stone award as well :j
Feel a bit of a fraud because I know I didn't eat well. The only things that can explain a loss after the weekend I had are the shoes coming off and that I'm breastfeeding the baby so using calories that way.
Back on the wagon this week, with the possible exception of the buffet after my son's Christening on Sunday, but I've organised the food so there are SW friendly options so long as I actually choose them, and limit the synful foods.:heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

Oh no it's not me who's the toddler - it's my DS who is 28 next month btw - oh and he doesn't like parsnips.
Hope you all enjoy Christening at the weekend.

Good to see you feeling more upbeat SaverUpper. Haven't read the whole thread (far too much nattering going on while I was on holiday - including this new thread!).
Having a Green day today:
B - Shreddies, milk.
L - Jacket potato, beans, cheese
D - Mixed bean goulash/rice
HEA1 & 2 - milk (breakfast & teas)
HEB1 - Shreddies
HEB2 - cheese on jacket potato
Rather a lot of beans today (superspeed!) so expecting to be a bit windy in this house tonight, LOL! Hoping they'll help with a bigger loss as well tomorrow.
