  • Thank you ladies for all your support and suggestions.I have done nothing but cry all morning.....
I am not thinking right at the moment, but, apart from adding more variety to the vegies we eat(kids are gunna love that icon_rolleyes.gif),nothing else jumps out at me-three weeks ago on here I was told I need less fruit,so am limiting that. Now apparently I don't have the variety.....it was never this hard when I was following the programme to get to target last year :o.
Have just made butternut squash soup for lunch(butternut, red pepper,onion-hopefully something good in there for me!).Had fruit salad (honeydew, grapes, apple, raspberries) for breakfast.
(thought baked beans were SS-I was having these most days for breakfast last week..................).
Someone asked if I was measuring stuff. That is one thing I have been doing right (tab of mayo, levelled with knife:and knife not licked :D),cheese measure out with digital scales, etc
If anyone has any more ideas/support,I am listening.Just so sad this morning.I had spent days feeling so much better in my clothes,Last night was definitely a come-down x

If you're feeling better in your clothes then you're definitely doing something right!!! It's quite common for shape to change first. Plus I honestly believe that you can lose in fits and starts not on a regular basis. Baked beans are SS but that's because they're high fibre (and good for you) not because they're superfree.

What I do when I've got children coming (and when I don't come to think of it) for a proper meal is put a range of veg out in serving dishes. It often encourages them to try if they can serve themselves. All leftovers then go in the fridge for me to fry up for my lunch with some cold meat.

Your menu today sounds really good. So sorry to hear you're all teary today so sending you a massive hug.:A

Don't be sad. It is very very frustrating at times. I'm currently locked in my own little battle of wanting to eat everything and not paying attention to my healthy extras and syns - which is why I'm flaffing about at the minute losing and gaining the same lb etc.

The mind is not winning with me right now.

From previous experience the more variety you have I think it helps your body not get used to things and stay the same weight. Annoying I know!!!!

Just a tip from me may or may not be of us - & we are all different but I use things like Pasta & Sauce etc as a once a week sort of thing. I found when I was eating them more than once I didn't lose any weight.

    Menu for today:

B - Toasted oats (HEX B) with raspberries and strawberries with a sprinkling of almond flakes. Topped with Muller smooth coconut yoghurt and a drizzle of honey.

L - The rest of the butternut squash stew

D - I am cooking shepherds pie but might not eat it (cooking it for husband really). So it will either be a small portion of shepherds pie with veg or a salad.

Snacks - Banana and a nectarine. Maybe another yoghurt if I'm feeling bold.

Syns - Around 10 again - all for breakfast. Worth it though!

We basically had the same Brekkie this morning - freaky!

No, MupElle - I think that too. I'm convincing myself that a couple of pints of cider, a large glass of wine and food that was not SW friendly did not account for my gain this week ;)......that in fact I just needed a loo break :D

I hate being the fat one someone has to sit beside, I really do. So why the hell have I only manage to lose 1 stone all year?

Anyway, nothing for it but to keep plodding on, one day at a time.

Mumoftwo - you are certainly not alone! I hate it when the seat belt won't fasten and the budget airlines belts seem to be shorter than the main carriers. :(

One stone off, even if it takes a year, is better than piling more on.
Keep going, you WILL get there, and I'm going to get there with you!:T
