    Hey HoHum,
Thank you for your stories, those stories are brilliant, seems they'll just try to scare people into paying.....imagine how many people it works with - makes you feel really cross about it all:mad:
    xx

Hi Granny - DD might have collected more money if she'd put bigger value coins in - it was just the copper shiny colour she like!
I feel like I need to start a tin too - I sort of have one in my car for loose change - mainly because have to pay for parking in town and have been caught short a few times! I bet Oz trip can't come soon enough for you, it makes me feel all excited for you every time you mention it!
    xx

    Hey Brogden,
NO I am not going to let them do that, and that is with thanks to everyone here:) I let it bother me a lot for a few hours yesterday, have not told DH as he tends to freak out and go all miserable on me, and he is actually being OK at the moment. So I kept it all to myself yesterday, what a silly thing to say, I didn't keep it to myself I shared it with you all:D (a burden shared is a burden halved or quartered or tenthed :rotfl:)

Both accounts have just terminated :( so defaulted as they have had tokens between £1 and 5 pro rata) It still scares me though. And I didn't sleep last night, other than snoozing through Night at the Museum which I said I would "watch" with my DS. OOPs.

So fell asleep for a few minutes at a time through the night then ended up reading , so have finished 1st book of Game of thrones :T Feeling like you know what now and no work done other than domestic :(

Hope you have had a good night's sleep :D

This isn't the time to lose sleep because you've been through the worst. If those accounts are terminated then so be it - the stress is behind you. The banks can see a willingness to pay and all you need to do now is budget to make sure you pay them an amount you can afford - the control is with you :) Remember what I said before (yawn :) !!) if you can back up a payment with an Income & Expenditure statement then it will be gratefully accepted and the plan agreed. Some may not even need the statement and it is not relevant how small that payment is :) !!

If you need to hear it from a lady then look at Grannyx2. She really knows the score....Granny's the boss....she writes the rules and the control is hers :T I'm trying to be like that :D

Hi Folks Am back after a 300 mile round trip :) exhausted but refreshed after a change of scene or two. Went to see my sister with DS first time in ages, 2hr journey was comfortable as traffic kept flowing - last time took me 4 hours)...lovely evening through we were all very tired - so we just had take out pizza, then wondered around her new neighbourhood - and chilled out on Saturday just watching films, and eating. Then left to see my parents and got over fed and over watered by my mum who loves cooking and spoiling children and grandchildren :) Helping parents finish/redecorate their kitchen and DH has been brilliant doing. Sorted out lots of paperwork for them, trips to recycling and shopping to help them stock up on essentials and heavy items - (Dad disabled and cant drive/mum doesn't drive). Also weather really warm so helped mum tame neighbours triffid that is taking over the corner of their garden. attacking her washing line and blocking out sun light. Neighbour is a lazy so and so, and has let his tiny town garden go wild and overgrown. Involved teetering on small step ladder to try and reach overgrown ivy and hack back over fence, followed by trips to recycle centre to get rid of excess triffid bits. Hope neighbour doesn't complain, but actually we did him a favour. Cleaning windows and hard to reach places for mum.
Busy and exhausted but really nice to spend a couple of days with them. They get so despondent when we leave.

Have neglected home affairs for a few days, need to spend tomorrow getting on top of things as working next five working days.
Also got home with a couple of new enquiries to follow up on ...fingers crossed :)

Thanks Brogden, seems that Granny is the Boss on these matters, am trying hard to get to that point fast!

Have lots of catching up to everyone's diaries, but will have to discipline myself tomorrow........

Hope everyone had a great weekend and a good start to the week......:)

Didn't get as much done today as hoped:( but at least DS had a friend round today so has had company his own age doing boyish things as opposed to visiting Aunty/ grandparents/ and playing with nieces/nephews as other sibling also visited parents while we were there!
We hoovered, did a Mr T shop (within budget just @ £71) hopefully will only need bread and salad stuff to add later this week.
Am doing my first few days at marking job from tomorrow so DS will have to just hang around unless DH feels amenable to being taxi - am leaving them to it!
Got quote ready to send for another small job, should be £1000 before Christmas if accepted, more in Feb if all goes to plan. fingers crossed - through a referral so hopefully should go ahead.
Made fajitas for the boys - enough left for lunch for DS and DH tomorrow. I will have to buy lunch tomorrow - supposed to be subsidised but will see how the land lies tomorrow and go for packed lunch next few days if its too expensive.
Spend this half term has been minimal - mainly diesel :) Also stocked up on cheap lentils and dahls + 10kg onions from big Asian supermarket near where sister lives. Amazing the difference in price - wish had something like that near here!!

Came home and milk 1 day past use by but still smelt OK - made paneer to use up - enough for 2 veggie meals for 3 of us - will freeze to cook at weekend. Also got some discounted veggies at My T so quite pleased which my shopping. Will do a chicken in red wine casserole in slow cooker which will do another 2-3 days of meals for freezer for the days I'm working :)
Shall give myself pat on the back and not worry about the VAT return due on 7th Nov latest. Need to clear my desk before I can do that. I wonder what all you amazing organised people would say if I posted a picture of it here.......... best not, would like to keep some degree of self-esteem intact;)

Hope the marking job goes well x

    Hi NOA x

I'm glad you had a nice relaxing break and thanks for your words of encouragement on my thread. I'll have to wait and see what happens now. I have cancelled my standing order on 'the big W' debt...it would be rude to carry on paying in the circumstances wouldn't it? :)

Well I've made my DMP-style cheese sandwiches with a couple of flapjacks I have just bought at Mozza's petrol station and I'm off to burn some diesel and wear some rubber.......;) Haha!!

    Have a smashing day :)

That all sounds great and positive. Aren't Asian grocers amazing? There's a few near me (I live in a big city) and honestly I could just browse for hours. And spices/ pulses/ rice...SO CHEAP.

Now spill, how do you make paneer? Enquiring minds need to know!
