    Hello my lovely

I've just finished reading, sorry don't know how I've missed your diary for so long.

Sorry wasn't around when you were struggling with the threat of emptyish nest with DD going away, along with debt worries and an Ostrich Head OH like mine.

You seem so much more positive and upbeat now, I'm so pleased for you.

I hope you have had a lovely weekend with your DC and your DS has had a fantastic birthday

    Morning All!:)
Have a lot of diary catching up to do on this very dark, grey cold October morning - have just got drenched running from car to front door after dropping DS at school! So need to get myself a hot cuppa and then will settle down for 1 hour with all you lovely people that have helped me to get to this better and happier place :) (before I get on with some work :()

Thank You Granny -we have had a lovely weekend :)
and you don't need to apologise at all but thank you for reading my very boring ramblings and moans, (don't like whinging and whining, sometimes can't help it though ;) and it helps pouring out my heart here !! Still doesn't cease to amaze me that people read and make time to comment.... it really does boost mood!
I do feel stronger and more upbeat, I have always worked hard for everything we have, we started married life with a £2000 overdraft, and built everything from scratch. And am not prepared to let it go so easily and without a battle! and if I have to will drag everyone along with me, kicking and screaming or sullen and sulking along with me! I know what's good for them;)

It seems Ostrich head OHs are far to common!
The first week DD was away was the hardest - would cry at the slightest mention. But seeing her so happy and enjoying uni life and the fact she came home for DS birthday and will be coming again in 3 weeks time for mine has shown me that she isn't just pleased to have left home - she has strong family feelings and that means the world to me :)
