NOA - what a lovely post. You love your parents so much it really comes across. I hope your Dad will be ok. It must have been such a worry for you all to know the GP wasn't supporting him.

I'm sorry your DD is being a bit neglectful. But I'm sure it just novelty factor of being free and in love.

It sounds like it's all going the right way even if slowly.

oh to be free and in love ;)

    Hello NOAH XXX

have you told your parents you want them to move in? Is the house ready - I just wonder if it might make you feel better if the house was ready? I don't know, in case of a quick decision having to be made.

I must say living with Mum has balanced out for me but it is tough.

Hope the hubby's job works out ok and you take some time to think about what you want re job.

    hugs XXX Buffy
    Nevertheless she persisted.

Thank You for your kind thoughts Verbatim. Dad slowly getting better, it was definitely an overdose - he also had tremors for a few days when he stopped taking the pain killers - he should never have been prescribed them as he has impaired renal function but he didn't want me to make a fuss with the surgery.

Hi Buffy, great to see you! My parents know I want them to move here, my dad would do so, but my mum doesn't want to - she wants to stay put for as she can manage. House is as good as ready, we have the space. it would need 2 weeks work to put a disabled shower room in for dad - plumbing is all in place already (we did it when we built the extension 10 years ago). I know living with them will be difficult (different generation etc!) but in terms of stress for me it would be the best solution. All my spare time at the moment is spent looking after them and their affairs - effectively running two households.

I'm so glad living with your mum has worked out for you - I totally understand it is tough - I think my mum just wants her independence as long as possible, understandably. She doesn't drive and we don't have good public transport.

    Love and Hugs

Thank you Puzz - dodgy hugs always welcome and appreciated :)
There is lots going on, sometimes I feel my head spinning and I can't focus on anything. Everything is fine and it's also not. Doesn't make sense does it?
Just would be nice to be carefree again, I think.
I also feel the my world has become very small, if that makes sense? But I do have a lot to be grateful for, and I am.

    Lots of Love

Thanks you for your kind words Bob. Dad is improving slowly, he sounded a bit chirpier and his voice wasn't so shaky yesterday. I Do love them very much - they are the kindest and most generous and forgiving people I know, but life hasn't dealt a good hand to them in terms of health.
My little dig at DD wasn't serious, I'm happy she is happy :)

Any way - enough about me ! What about your big news? Hope all well?
    Love n hugs

Really glad to hear things are looking up for your Dad. And sorry to hear they suffer health wise. It's often the nicest people who have a lot to bear.

Yes all good here. Had a Daughter 5 weeks ago. She's doing really well.
