Or that Plusnet finally launch a tv service- a Youview-based IPTV service has been in trial by some Plusnet customers for many months, I believe, and a staff trial since early 2013.
I have got my name on the list if they open the trials again, but its been 12 months since the last one. So yes, hopefully soon. I can hang on for a bit.
Although just noticed quidco are offering £180 if you switch to BT Infinity and BT TV, so could cut my losses on the line rental for the good deal now?0 -
There seems to be an off-topic conversation going on here that has nothing whatever to do with Sky Sports 5??0

Lol, I know, my fault. :whistle:0

My Sky Sports 5 just stopped working today, after having worked without activation for several months.
I activated it online this evening - very reluctantly. The "online chat" agent assured me that it would not start a new 12 month contract.
Anyway, it switched my Sky Sports 5 back on immediately ... no overnight wait. So I shall hope for the best.

Does anyone have a definitive answer on the '12 Month' contract renewal with activation of Sky Sports 5. I've seen a few posts on a number of forums saying that it no longer ties you to the 12 months but nothing official from Sky.
Anybody?
Many thanks0 -
Just received an e-mail from Sky confirming no change of contract on activation of Sky Sports 5 and the channel is now up and running again,0

Indeed. Which kinda makes this whole campaign pointless.0
