Mcdonalds is so boring in the UK!

Why are Mcdonalds so boring in this country? There is no originality or exciting burgers and menu items like you see in other countries. Dont they realise that more people would come to eat there if they had promotions that were exciting, rather than just another burger in a different bun or with bacon on!

What sort of 'exciting' and 'original' things are on McD's menu in other countries?

TBH, the only burgers I eat are the ones I make myself from butcher steak mince so regardless of what McD's do to change the menu, it wouldn't tempt me in to eat there.

I don't think the tripe they sell at McDonald's can really be called a burger! Why not try somewhere different?
  • Do people go to McDonald's expecting and exciting menu? I wouldn't think so....most peeople going to McDonald's are after cheap, 'cheerful' fast food that is the same every time. That's their business model and it works for them.

If you want an exciting variety of burgers try somewhere a bit more up-market like GBK or Byrons.

Head off to Subway instead - or are you barred from there ?

Suggestion would be, if you don't like the menu, eat elsewhere.

  • I do like the menu. But compare their menu in the USA compared to the UK, they have so many options we do not have.

If you need MacDonalds to bring excitement into your life I'd suggest your problems are a bit bigger than what burger to order !

Have you considered contacting McD's to ask why their UK menu is so restricted and unexciting? (according to you, that is. I've no idea what is on their menu.)

Why does wishing for new products to try at a chain whose food I enjoy suggest I have problems?

I eat and enjoy many other things, obviously.

You can buy beer at McDonald's in some countries - being drunk might, just might, make their food seem palatable
