Gonzo..have you tried roasted tomatoes? Skin them, cut in half horizontally, sprinkle with finely chopped garlic, salt and black pepper, drizzle with olive oil then top with fresh basil...coast in the oven for about 35 mins until the edges start to char slightly...a small drizzle of balsamic when you take them out and serve with salads or anything actually!! They are absolutely lush and can happily be eaten cold too ;)

Ooo i haven't, but i shall give that a whirl!

I love courgette spaghetti! I just use a box grate to make the 'spaghetti' OH isn't convinced however.
    wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww - CONGRATULATIONS !!!!

Thanks! I felt SO good once the run was finished, the last 2 minutes where a killer though, looking forward to getting out again on Tuesday, see if i can improve my time/distance.

I made a brocolli soup and a huge pot of minestrone, and I have a dhaal cooking for our dinner later, will have some soup with hubs when he gets back later.

Just looked into the leftovers from my Abel and Cole delivery from last Wed.

Broccoli that I was saving for today has gone weird brown/yellow colour and very dry.. Hmmmm Looks like soup in here today too....

Cauliflower looks ok so steamer it will be.

2 corn cobs - would boil but... can one steam whole corn cobs????Got to google......

    Yes you can wohooooo

Got some salad greens left too - those will got into lunch box for tomorrow.

Frankly, I really do not feel what I got was worth what I paid for it - but what choice is there? May try Riverford next time... Hmmmm

I just do not trust the "organic" label from Tesco/Asda/Sainsburys...

That's exactly how we felt about our able and cole delivery. Wouldn't bother with them again, I haven't tried Riverford though. Ocado also do veg boxes.

I do not want a veg box. I want to pick what I want and when I want (re delivery) grrrr

Anyway - overdone it big time. Try not to puke reading this:

    Juice:
    carrots
    lemon
    ginger
    celery
    apples
    beetroot

Then juice n the blender and added:
    avocado
    banana
    spinach
    kale
    parsley
green powder (from health food shop)

Got 1.5 LITERS of weird looking BROWN stuff - had 2 glasses of it. Rest in the fridge and I WILL drink it.

If you do not see my typing later on - do NOT copy what I have done and described above LOL

Have you got a green grocer that might deliver?

Today has been good foodwise! Went to town with hubs so more walking done, I'm shattered now. Hoping to get up at 6:30 and do my circuit training before work. Dinner was delicious! Have some leftovers which we can freeze for a quick hm takeaway when we don't want to cook.

Hope your Sunday's have been good!

nOT QUITE PUPPIES.. zARA IS 8, bONO AROUND 4 AND bILLY AROUND 2 YO :).

They are all puppies to me! ;) I've never met a dog, regardless of age, who doesn't act like a puppy still - constantly living in the moment....that's why I love them so much!! :D

Well, today I am having trout with roasted red & yellow peppers, sauteed tomatoes and sweet potato for dinner - I will wash it down with some sparkling water instead of my usual bottle of wine too!!_pale_ :rotfl:

Last night I had a chick pea and aubergine dish that I threw together from what I had in the fridge.... made a tomato sauce with onions, garlic, tomatoes, tomato puree and greek basil, mixed in some chickpeas and bunged that at the bottom of an oven dish. Then I sliced and chargrilled an aubergine, layered them on top and then spread finely chopped black olives and capers over that. Made a green sauce from garlic, coriander, red wine vinegar and a chopped green pepper (blended it all) put that on top of the caper & olive mix and finished it all off with a soya yoghurt topping and cooked it for about 30 mins in the oven......nomnom!!:D

I have decided that I will get into the 'not drinking' thing first as that is what is putting all my weight on, once I have done that for a week or so, I will start to incorporate the exercise, followed by the stopping smoking and eating better - I have done a meal plan which will use up all the corpse in my house which will free me up to go back to a vegan diet soon :j

gettingready....I don't do veg boxes - I used to years ago when a friend of mine started her own business but after trying another few when she gave it up, I tended to find that they give you the same slightly inferior selection for weeks on end. I like to eat mainly locally produced, seasonal produce, but also like to have the occasional splurge on other stuff (sweet potatoes being the most obvious one!)

I am lucky that I live in the country and have the dehydrator so I buy lots of stuff during the summer from local farm shops and stalls outside peoples houses that I can dehydrate (or freeze) for winter use - along with the stuff that I grow in my garden - but I think that with veg, it is always better to see what you are getting rather than hoping that someone will provide you with decent produce.

I know it is expensive, but waitr*se produce is always really good quality and it works out cheaper to buy from there than end up throwing stuff away because it has already gone off or is flavourless.....

Anyhoo....essay over!! Hope you are all well! :D

Well done! That's fantastic! I'm scared of the scales because I had a few food blips last week, might wait another week before i weigh in.

I overslept...didn't have time for exercise or breakfast!! Still today's workout is now pinned to my fridge for me to complete before dinner tonight. I hope working out 5/6 times a week helps...

We go on a mini break in September, I'm hoping to only drink 2 times before then (will set myself up for a fail if say 0 days)

No breakfast, broccoli soup and bread for lunch and dinner is stuffed mushrooms with wedges and veg.

I'm getting quite fed up with the scales - I haven't shifted a pound in three weeks! However, I was wearing trousers that I couldn't do up properly three weeks ago :D

I've had a breakfast smoothie the last three mornings, consisting of 2 cups spinach, 2 cups coconut water, 1/2 pineapple, 1 avocado and 1 banana. Was told I was looking very pretty and 'sun kissed' today

I REALLY enjoyed my Reiki attunement yesterday and - mental as it sounds - I can walk on it with no pain! Not quite running strength but a million times better.
