Nope, I don't! It was the beer, as someone else said - see posts 633 and 634. Sorry it sounded mysterious (no I'm not, we all need a bit of mystery in our lives)!:rotfl:

I had a sneaky look at mse at work today and thought I'd check on your thread and got distracted for ages - oops! I love your thread so much, it's like a rollercoaster - one minute you're posting lovely pictures of your anniversary party, the next there's 'gritty' financial 'discussion' (and not to forget all those pictures of men last week ;)).

I'm only a couple of years older than you, got married a week before you and I'm currently trying to get OH to realise that we need to put aside £x per month to pay for presents and can't just rely on having enough money in December - because I know we won't. We're teetering on the edge of having to go into debt and it's reading stories like yours, from people desperately trying to get out of debt that I know it's something I have to try so hard to avoid at all costs (and I now understand why people get into debt so easily too) You really are an inspiration!

Look forward to the next installment of the IA and family journey

Morning all... car tax renewal notice arrived today... £77 for 6 months.. £140 for 12...
Speaking of the car the garage called yesterday and it's booked in on saturday morning for the retest and to have the fog light switch fitted. fingers crossed it won't cost too much. I asked him when it failed and he said it should be around £20-£30 which we've got put aside so shouldn't be too bad.
Other than that it's a fairly normal boring wednesday lol. We did our food shop last night, together which made a nice change lol...

I'm not too bad.. the ironic thing is I'm a bit tired but K slept right through last night from 8-6.45! lol.. I would ask MIL to nip down the market but I haven't got any money... Plus Ste has got the double buggy in the car. :wall:

  • Tiredness hits me like that too, sometimes I feel worse when I have too much sleep - no sense huh!! The sun is out here, do you have a park nearby that you could take Ash and K to?

I too think it might be good if you were able to go out and about a little more- I can completely understand why you don't- when William was younger it was a struggle just getting out the door with the both of them, but then Sophia could walk without needing the pushchair and that was fab. You could advertise for a buggy board on your local freecycle? Then as Ash is a little older now, she might enjoy that if you were able to get a single pushchair - much easier obviously. Worth trying? Would make it much easier to get out and about?

What are you sorry for.. you're right! I do need to get out more but the trouble is Ash is at the funny age where although she can walk she gets tired and narky easily which ends up with full scale tantrums while trying to stop her getting running over and pushing K in the pushchair! lol

Another thing to everyone. Sorry again incase i say something wrong. Bout the ps3. Everyone go of the rails when trying to clear debt. having a go at steve and sarah or how the should spend there money on other things. Everyone got to have treats now and then, even if only few clothes items, or treat the girls, or little bit and bobs. but she get back on the saving money and pay the debt fund. :)
