Baby next door crying non-stop!

Lulu in regards to your question about things aid to babies in desperation, yes I did horrible things, shouted and even often cried with them(which used to get then to stop for about 20 seconds! ). I even thought of ringing social services to bed then to take them away. Of course all this makes you feel even more hopeless. Thankfully I never felt the urge to hurt them.
I used to go out into the garden and scream that must have made me look even more bonkers than usual.0 -

I already feel like that, if I'm honest. We were meant to start trying in May but things stopped us from doing so. That's another story so I'm not getting into it here.
I really feel for everyone on this thread who has their own personal hell they are going through. Our Rainbow Twins born 17th April 2016

When No 3 son was at his worse, and I was wheeling him out in his pram (so I was being considerate to the neighbours, taking him away from them!) I would be pushing him along the suburban streets with tears running down my face. I was so glad that it was dark and no-one was out - apart from the occasional dogwalker and nobody talked to me!
Its not an easy position to be in - as the baby, the parent of the offending baby or as the suffering neighbour.0 -

Very simplistic and not always the case.0 -
My neighbours have a barking dog, okay it's not a crying baby but bear with me!
He's always barked since I've lived there, a lot of the time it's during the day when I'm out at work but he gets going on a weekend. He tends to bark and anyone and everyone going past the house.
Now I can accept this when no-one is in but when they are in and they do nothing to shut him up that is what I can't stand.
OP, are you almost more annoyed that they don't seem to be doing anything about it perhaps than the noise itself?
It certainly is tricky when there is a lack of communication, perhaps you could put a card through the door if you can't get her to speak to you?
As for the dog, he's pressing on a bit so I'm hoping there will be a permanent silence soon :eek: - Just because I love this emoticon!0 -

Oh, I know the feeling about dogs from when I lived at home!
I suppose it is both. I can't say that I appreciate the noise but it does sound like she isn't doing anything. Obviously I don't know the ins and outs.
I have been tempted to write a note or something but I would be fuming if someone did that to me!Our Rainbow Twins born 17th April 2016

Surely this is an incentive for people to get off their butts, work hard, earn high and buy the biggest property possible !!!
Yes Ideally in the middle of a field ! Seriously I get how the OP is feeling ,must be like hell..
OP can't you invite the mother from hell and the kids round for coffee, might help to diffuse things a bit0 -

At present because of all doors and windows being open I can hear the terrified screams of a small child before he gets hit. Heard it again the other day and ran to the house after hearing the thwack! There wasn't a sound coming from the open doors, it was like a recording had been switched off, so I returned home shaking like a leaf. She is in the middle of a terrace so surely her neighbours hear it. Best I can do at present is keep a diary, and I worry that once winter comes I won't hear a thing.
PLEASE tell me you did not do nothing following that?!
PLEASE tell me you either rang 101 or Children's Services.
When a child is being abused like that, it is EVERYONE'S responsibility to protect it.0
