Am going to cheat and do todays now as well :
I am grateful that I have the money to get my car MOT'd, that the car still looks OK for its age and the mileage is reasonable.
I am grateful I pre-paid on a card site so I can send all my cards on-line.
I am grateful I have good friends to send Birthday & Christmas cards to.

ooh I can't even manage the 12 days of Christmas without forgetting, but its been a couple of roller-coaster days at home.

Been busy sorting out some stuff from the attic and garage, should really have done something about those Xmas decs but not really feeling inclined. However from a debt busting point of view I have found a good stash of present bags and wrap as well as a few cards left from last year so that'll help.

I am grateful that I have tv to watch in bed when I go there to hide, also for good clean bedding. I am also grateful I discovered generator irons some time ago, even if the 2 I have both seem to have stopped working (lol).

    Hi Sazzie

I think this is a lovely idea, and far better than posting on judgementbook, I have an account on fb but rarely post anything because so much of what people post I could say nothing constructive about.

I didn't sleep so well last night so ended up watching very late night TV.
I watched 'A&E in the warzone' it was about Syria and an English doctor literally working in the warzone. Great real life TV, made me understand much more about what is going ther. Instructive as well as I work in A&E and there was some useful information about trauma.

So tonight I can say even though I'm having a tough time with some home things, I'm grateful I have access to the NHS with all the tests and drugs that come free in our country, even though I have to pay a little bit for my prescriptions. I am grateful I don't have to try to sleep listening out for barrel bombs & I am grateful our hospitals and schools are not driven underground for safety.

Regards that other posting site, although I do use it, it makes me realise just how much I'm not a 'fitter in' so I find it a bit upsetting really and I have to make myself not get stuck on it.

Bit late tonight, defo did not feel well earlier and slept so badly I could hardly keep my eyes open so I took the opportunity of being home alone to stay in bed and slept enough to survive the shift.

So today I was/am? grateful that I had the opportunity to stay in bed.
I am grateful for that I have cupboards with food in so I could have a snack before going to work and grateful I have a washing machine so my clothes were clean and ready to change into.

Today was lovely weather and I'm grateful I was able to get out in the sun for a little shopping. I am especially grateful to SC & MSE that I knew I had enough in the bank to buy the final Christmas presents. I am also grateful that was I able to join some friends at a carol 'service' more of a carol musical celebration, this evening.

Well today has not been an easy day at home, but at least I can say I'm grateful that I have friends to buy presents for. I am also grateful that I was able to get into the loft the other day so I know that I have plenty of wrapping and gift bags ready to use without spending any extra money.
And finally today I'm grateful that I was able to find some foot smoother for just a £1 which has worked really well - happy feet = happy Sazzie.

Oh lummy I missed yesterday - I did think about but that was as far as I got. Well I can do extra tonight instead.

I am grateful I went to school and my family and friend's children can still go to school without the constant threat of terrorist shootings. I am grateful that I am still in touch with some of my old school friends and they accept me now as they did when I was 12!
    - and think I'm still as odd ..lol I am grateful we have the media to inform us such atrocities occur so that I can understand why I should be grateful.

I am also grateful I have learned the skills to record my gratefulness, is that even a word - ha ha, that I have the facilities, laptop, electricity, broadband to connect to the internet, and I must also note that I am grateful I have learned skills to budget so I can afford to keep this diary.
