Thank you for the lists. Natty and Dusty, I often think of you fondly as I survey my home and think, "This is all possible thanks to you two." Much love and hugs. (there are other times when I'm not so keen!).
Morning all. I'm just enjoying the peace before everyone wakes up. Washing is in the machine- I will hang it out despite the fact it looks like rain.
DN is staying tonight for 2 nights so I need to get his bed out of the loft. While I'm up there, I will get DD's bag down ready for Sea cadet camp on Sunday.
Sis says she will be bringing him over after lunch.
Carbonnarra for tea tonight. I have to share as I'm so excited- I love carbonnarra!
Will just crack on and get these few things done and then need to print out some geocaching stuff. I would like to get the 7 souvenirs of August and I have a travel bug to drop somewhere too.
Ah- it's raining.
Oh, in other exciting news, I actually hung a few items of washing over the banisters yesterday and on the way downstairs, realised that I have a good spot in front of my big cupboard to put a clothes airer. That should make life a little easier for me
Ooh, removal men are here, looking lost. We have new neighbours arriving today, but aren't expecting vans until 10am. I fear they'll have loads of interruptions if they start now as they can't park near enough to the house without blocking the road.Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -

Good morning everyone. The frizzle household are in again! A few frogs munched yesterday. All camping stuff and other 'bits' put into the loft. While I was up there I had a good sort out so it is all organised up there now. Also, found ds1's kiddie sleeping bag. We looked high and low for it before camping and relented to getting him a new one. Who would have known we had putit in a box in the loft so not visible when looki around!,! Grrr! Oh well at least we have a spare. We had half an hour in the garage last night. Filled the wheelie bin with 'stuff' that we are keeping in case we need it! 5 years later still haven't used t so we were ruthless!
Also continuing with sorting the boxes out in ds1's room. So 11 out of the 16 done including the ones with the five that have puzzles and games in and had a sea of bits from said items at the bottom of the boxes. Anyway got a play date at 10 for most f the day. Hope the bedroom doesn't get too trashed! So I have an hour to make theplacelook presentable and then doe the kitchen list. Will just go and find the listGrocery challenge-

Morning all
Slept awfully, I think DS1 did too as I could hear him up and about, I'll go and wake him for work next.
DS2 away for his last driving lesson before his next test (fingers crossed for 3rd time lucky)
I've just looked online and bagged a GP appointment for this afternoon - amazing and I'll look proper awful by 14:30 on 2 hours sleep.
Motivation could be severely lacking today and I have a frog I must eat, one a day this week will be my aim.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Good morning all  Have been up and flying since 6:00
What should have been a 2-minute job to check the hook on one end of the LR curtain turned into a 45-minute sewing job and two broken machine needles because of the thickness of the buckram header  and of course I had to take the curtain down and re-hang it afterwards. But it looks good now
Half the radiator pipes are covered, and 2 cupboards have been tidied in the kitchen and utility. All the paint has been put away.
I was thinking about Skinty's 99p drawers, and as I decanted the nearly-empty washing gel sachet container into the new one, I realised it might be the very thing for odds and other bits on top of the study chest of drawers. (I have been saving these flip-lid containers for a few months, as I thought they might come in useful for packing small items in our course resource boxes.) I can fit 6 under the slope of the dormer, and still have room in front for froggy things without giving them space to spawn madlyAnd they're free :money: Funny how pleased I am by little things like this :rotfl:
JTTOU I've put out some extra spoons for you and Dusty so don't hold back.
Congratulations to your DH, lynnejk - I hope he enjoys his new job.
Belated birthday greetings to Mr Kitten with apologies for forgetting to say it yesterday.
Same applies to a big "Well done" to nicki on the decorating front. The best advice I ever had was "Measure twice, cut once". It really saps your energy, working up enough courage to do something if you're not used to it, but once you've done one or two shelves you'll be on a roll :T
Back to work - 5 upstairs radiator pipes to cover, and I must have a shower.0 -
Morning I have been waiting patiently to join all weekend lol
I am definitely going to try my hardest to get my home totally organised before the mad rush back to school runs in September. So I am in x
