My 'lifestyle choice'??? How about a little give and take and being understanding of one another?
You chose to have a child. You don't need to use the disabled toilet because you have a child. Many disabled people have no choice but to use the disabled toilet.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

Tbh, I never felt I had much choice when having my LO. For me, the phrase 'lifestyle choice' was too often accompanied by a refusal to accept that unexplained infertility is a medical condition. I would have loved to have more 'choices' when it came to conception, rather than pumping myself full of drugs and praying it worked.
It's not like I used the disabled loos every say/week of her life. It must have been 4 or 5 times out of a whole year and I will not apologise for it.0 -

It is a choice though ... Physically parents withkids can use "normal loos" .
Some Wheelchair users can not.
Parents choose to have their children, I can't imagine many people choose to have a disabilities which stops them accessing "normal loos".Spelling courtesy of the whims of auto correct...

Having children of any type is a choice regardless of whether they are biologically your own. That is your choice disabled peoples lives are hard enough without selfish people able to use other facilities clogging up our needed resources.
Just think how many "normal loos" are there in places generally 2 /3 cubicles ? If there is more than 1 disabled loo its a rarity.Spelling courtesy of the whims of auto correct...

And how many people able bodied people there are trying to use them than disabled people trying to use the accessible one.
What's your opinion on train toilets? Everyone uses the accessible ones, are they awfully selfish?0 -

Isn't that different? Because from experience, there aren't any other toilets. Whereas in shopping centres, there are other toilets.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

My comment relates to where there are alternatives which people don't bother to use as per my comment above about how people can use "normal loos" but use the disabled ones for convenience.
If there is no alternative then obviously everyone has to shareSpelling courtesy of the whims of auto correct...

I will always do what is safest for my child and if there were no standard toilets where I could take my pram and child, then I would use the disabled ones. I don't care if that makes me selfish.0
