When ds was a baby I went in lot of disabled toilets as that was where the baby changing pull down station was.0 -

That's something I've done many times, also while stopping our then two year of from opening the cubicle door and making a dash for it. It really isn't that difficult, if someone struggles to hold a baby they can easily use a sling.0 -

Well if the baby changing pull down station was there, it clearly wasn't exclusively designated as a disabled toilet. Whilst I think that was a poor decision by the whoever planned the toilet facility, at least the regular disabled users would have been aware of that and would be able to plan accordingly, possibly by avoiding it in favour of an exclusive disabled toilet.0 -

And if they don't have a sling? Or the baby (like mine) screams blue murder if you try and put them in one?
Now my LO can walk, i'd be happy to use the non-disabled facilities. But not when I would have had to hold her.0 -

But what about two babies? Etc... There should be a toilet in the baby changing facilities.
All men are equal with a full bladder - and just because someone is disabled it doesn't mean they have a bladder or bowel issue, and just because someone is able bodied it doesn't mean they don't suffer from these sorts of conditions.0 -

I would much rather my baby cried than used something that is vital to a disabled person, a few seconds of crying after all won't harm them or be an inconvenience to you or others.0 -

It really isn't that difficult, what had happened that now makes parents incapable of planning ahead when taking their children out, people really need to get a grip, I have always been more then capable when taking more than one baby/toddler with me to the toilet, it doesn't make me superman. You do realise if a person had a condition that prevents them from controlling their bodily functions they are disabled.0 -

I think it is very rude if someone who is not disabled uses the loo if there is a disabled person waiting. Of course they should be given priority, but if there is no queue, and a person with a pram, small child, dad/young daughter, needs to use it, then I don't see too much of a problem tbh.
I can't wait to go toilet and standard toilets are a big no for me due to the noise. This could mean that I will soil myself. Is that really ok?
Disabled toilets are there for disabled people to use. Not lazy people who can't be arsed to wait a few minutes. And not for parents either. Someone please tell me, what did parents do years ago?Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

Apparently just like those with disabilities they never left the house or wore a nappy to go out.0 -

There are ways around this without using the disabled facilities. That they may be unpalatable to you doesn't change that fact. But maybe one day you will be the one who struggles to get to and from, on and off a toilet, with an empty bladder, let alone with a full one, an act most of us don't have to think much about. Maybe then you will be sad that others believe their lifestyle choices give them priority over you, saddled as you are with a disability you did not choose to have, and have not played a part in getting.0
