Boys using ladies loos

Options
I was just wondering what peoples views were on boys going into the ladies loos with their Mum/Granny/Auntie/Sister. Not talking toddlers more age 7+ for example.

What age is too old/inappropriate?

  • About 10-11/once they are about five foot tall.

And if the place looks a bit dodgy, I wouldn't have a problem with them using the disabled facilities as an alternative. (Said as someone who needs to use the things)
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

Me and my Mam had to use the public loos today, and there was a young lad in there and I'd say he was about 7 or 8? I'd say any older than that age is probably not appropriate tbh.

Depends on the boy and the situation.

In other situations, with queues streaming out of ladies and disabled facilities and not the men's I have nipped in there. As a fully grown women averting my eyes i decided it was better than wetting my knickers after three quarters of an hour queue ing. I'd feel the same about a bloke entering the ladies, where we have more privacy, in the same situation.

Tbh, I'd be happy with mixed sex cubicle loos.
  • Not quite the same but at the swimming pool I think the sign on the changing room says no boys over 8 years. My BiL insists on his 7yr old being accompanied to the toilet as hes convinced there's a pervert in every single public toilet, bizarrely he wasn't even remotely bothered by losing same boy in a theme park for nearly an hour.

Probably ten-ish but doesn't bother me in the slightest. There are cubicles after all. Too old is once the young lad is old enough to object to going into the ladies.

I don't really care to be honest, girls in male toilets might be a bit different because of urinals but in women's toilets I really couldn't care who was in there.

I went in a men's toilet when I was about 17 at a concert venue, that was inappropriate because of the urinals but I was going to burst! I don't see the problem with boys in the ladies as it's cubicles.

I think the same! My son is 9 and about average height foe his age. Today we went on a family day out, and obviously neede the loo on our visit. Normally he would go into the mens if we had a male family member to take him, otherwise he comes in with me or we use the family toilets (if there are any) or disabled ones as a very last resort!

Today however I felt the right choice was to take him in with me, we had no one to take him, so he came in with me. All well and good he did his business and washed his hands, all the while this woman kept leaving then popping her head back in, tutting and leaving again, I sent him outside with my Mum sensing perhaps this woman was irritated at his presence. She then proceeded to shout that kid of your beter be SPECIAL NEEDS or otherwise I'm reporting him to the staff for being a pervert!!! At this point I am VERY glad I sent him out. My son is very sensitive and socially very young for his age, this would have devestated him.

So I'm wondering, having never really given it a second thought, either taking him in the ladies, or seeing other young boys in there, if this really is a problem, or was this woman just a bit ummm odd!!?

Until they're able to confidently use the men's on their own, I suppose.

Although I personally would have no problem with a little boy using ladies toilets. I don't see what's inappropriate about it. It's not like they're going to see anything they shouldn't, since there are cubicles and any business is done in private. It's not like a girl using a men's toilet, where she may spot a stray penis over the urinals. In fact, I've seen many public toilets that were unisex, with just cubicles.

How ridiculous. How is it perverted? We are all naked under our clothes.

If there were those female urinals at festivals - I'd use them!
