The cooker is fixed :j
I was a bit worried to start with as the engineer was scratching his head as to what it could be but then seemed to have a brainwave and found the problem :T
Feeling much happier now
In other news - I've won £10 on the lottery- it will be duly added to the mortgage of course
I've realised I haven't commented on books for a whileI recently recommended Eeny Meeny and have just finished reading the next book in the series - Pop Goes the Weasel. It was also good (if a little grim in places) and if you enjoy crime/police investigation stories - then it's worth checking out
I'm trying to be good and read books I already have (and there are plenty of unread ones!) rather than buy them. I need to be good until Xmas at least....

Somewhat ironically following yesterdays comments about books.... Today I've won 2 books in 2 seperate giveaways :j Nice bit of news to brighten up the midweek greyness anyway
In money news....I OP'd a massive 94p :rotfl: It was cashback from the bank...
Feeling a bit weary tonight and not sure I will be long before bed... Oh the excitement0 -
Have a good rest BW, feeling weary is nature's way of telling you that you need more snooze to adjust to the changing seasons
I'm going the opposite way with books - I've spend more since September than I have in the last few years combined! :eek:0 -

Home earlier than normal today as had a doctors appointment. At least it meant I could leave work early
Now the oven is back in working order, I'm thinking of baking a cake. I'm seeing some friends tomorrow night and I thought it would be a nice thing to take with me. Hard to motivate myself to bake mid week though0 -

I have saved that page for future reference. Some really yummy looking recipes on it.
