Good morning from a lottery winner
A nice email to start the day ... "news about your ticket" - turned out to be £2.60 :rotfl: so while very nice seems to be a few 0's missing
I have OP'd it anyway along with a £1.21 TCB payment
I know the 1st is still a couple of days away but I have updated my spreadsheet early and am very pleased to see that another month has dropped off the mortgage :T It really does remind me that all the little things DO add up and it's worth keeping at it
Had a lovely lie in this morning and now just working out plans for the day over a :coffee:

Hello Bookworm,
I am glad that you are doing so well. It is indeed all those little things that aren't bought that make all the difference. Many people think they are saving by buying things in the sales when the real way tosave is by not buying at all.....
Happy Saturday evening,
Squirrel xPaid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D0 -
Sorry to hear about your friend, it must have been a terrible shock to get news like that.
Good news about mortgage. It's really worth chipping away at it, it all mounts up.:)Early retired - 18th December 2014

Well that's another Monday done and dusted at the madhouse!
I also braved the mayhem of my local shopping centre tonight. Hoped it would be quiet on a Monday and I was right :T Picked up a few more Xmas pressies. Got several more that should be delivered this week too.
No money news today. Although mortgage payment went out since it's the first of the month.0
