Good Morning

Hope everyone had a happy (and safe Halloween). I spent a very enjoyable evening with some friends having a chinese and a movie. They treated me and so it was a cheap evening. They also loved the cake
Tonight I'm off to see a comedian in town. The tickets have been booked for over a year and so nothing to pay for except a few drinks. I'm also getting the money back from the friends I'm going with as I booked the tickets for all of us...and so I will actually be in profit afterwards! :j LOL. I'm torn between OP'ing the money they give me or using it towards Xmas pressies. Will have a further think on that
I have updated my mortgage spreadsheet today being a new month. Turns out I forgot to do last month (shows how busy it's been last few weeks!
).......... and I have now knocked a further 2 months off the mortage :T
I only make small OP's (especially compared to some folks on these boards who are going great guns) but it reminds me that all amounts really do make all the difference. So feeling pretty
today
Right need some more :coffee: Have a great day all

You're doing great, BookWorm! It's lovely to see that you've embarked on a diary journey, can't wait to see those OPs mounting up! Good luck!
a penny picker upper. MFW approx 78% to go | FIRE 3 years worth (30% savings rate: now aiming for 40%!) | Normality is a paved road; it's comfortable to walk, but no flowers grow on it | Whatever you're meant to do, do it now. The conditions are always impossible | The only thing you absolutely have to know, is the location of the library0 -
Thanks Ed, Cath and Perla*Merle for stopping by

Was feeling very Monday-ish yesterday and so didn't come online. Feel less blah today but still not quite myself. Can't put my finger on why either....
I wasn't at all impressed this morning at having to scrape the car windscreen. I'm not ready to deal with ice every day! Hopefully it won't be the same tomorrow!
Money news:
£194.75 OP made :j
I also received a £20 survey payment that I was waiting on. I opted for Am@zon vouchers
I have also received a moisturiser to test......

One of the books I won last week arrived. I've added it to the ever growing pile

I also won a £2 Amazon voucher in a prize draw today :T0 -
Well done on the hearty OP, just the thing to warm yourself in the surprisingly cold weather, where did that come from?
Hope you moved past the Monday feeling, but Friday tomorrow, so even if you haven't the week will still end

Ed - I have a bit of a confession to make as i made a typo with the OP Should read £179.75
Must have been overexcited posting and not realised :rotfl: Still not bad though admittedly (for me). It's made up of some ticket money, a survey payment and some expenses I got back
I have moved past the Monday feeling... but mainly cos I'm now done for this week
Gally - at that temperature!
Money news - £6 survey payment received and will be OP'd0
