I took your advice Tilly and the relax on the sofa turned into a nap
Cake is yummy though0 -
Oh no, not somebody else with a cold. There's definitely something very infectious going round.
You are very wise to have a nice relaxing time, that's the best thing to doEarly retired - 18th December 2014

What a ghastly day weather wise!
I managed to step on several wonky paving stones on the way home tonigh ... the kind that send a mini wave over your foot getting it wetter somehow than if you had submerged it in a bath
I was very glad to get home tonight and get changed into something warm and dry.
No money news to report. Too many days til payday for my liking.....
On a brighter note, I'm feeling a bit better. Still have the pesky cough but it's definitely improved0 -
Another wet and wild day here. Autumn is definitely making itself felt!
No money news to report though I am hoping a cashback payment will appear in the next few days.
I did complete a VO survey for £20 as well so fingers crossed that arrives ok too
Hope everyone's week is going ok

Whoops! Not been in for a few days
Thanks for stopping by Wish
Weather has finally cleared up. Managed to get some garden jobs done. Suspect it will be the last time the lawn gets cuts this year too.
I've had a long weekend break which has been great. I had some family visiting Thurs/Friday. Was lovely to see them.
I'm feeling much better than last week - although that cough is still lingering!
In money news:
£22.31 OP - which came from £co cashback
£10 survey payment received
Awaiting £3 from PC
Credit card paid- was a large bill as paid for the new cooker. I had the money but it still pained me to see the a/c balance go down by so much
Quiet day today as I'm currently counting the [STRIKE]hours[/STRIKE] days til payday....
Although I have ordered some presents for that dreaded C-word event coming up. I used some gift vouchers and money off so that doesn't count right?0 -
My new oven has a fault
I went to switch on the fan oven tonight to get tea ready and nothing  No light, noise or power. Weirdly though, the top oven and hobs still work ok. So not a total disaster but pretty annoying all the same :mad:0 -
Oh no! Your kitchen appliance killing powers continue....0

So it seems
There is a kind of irony in that one of drivers for replacing the cooker was because I couldn't use the bottom oven...so therefore somewhat weird in that I am now in the same position with the new one!0 -
Grrrr how annoying. Hope you get it sorted without any hassle.Mortgage outstanding: [STRIKE]£47,750 (August 2014)[/STRIKE] [STRIKE][/STRIKE]£46,950 (Nov 14)[STRIKE][/STRIKE] £44,900 (June 2015)
