Another flying visit.... :o... things should calm down a little next week... I hope!

    £3 PC payment - will be OP'd
£2 credit received back on a pre-order so will also OP that

Managed to bag some prosecco today for £6.50 a bottle when it should have been £8.75 - so that's almost 25% saving :T - just because the retailer had labelled it wrong :D

On the right side towards the weekend.... ;)

Money news - £6 survey payment OP'd and credit card paid

A bit of Xmas shopping done too - slowly coming together...

    BW :)

Well another week seems to have whizzed past
This is my first weekend at home in the best part of a month and boy have I been looking forward to it. I have a zillion chores to do and things to sort but I'm putting them off til a bit later :p

One of the reasons I have had such little time lately is that I have been helping to organize a quiz night for charity. This was on top of my normal work stuff too which keeps me busy enough normally. Well the quiz was this week and despite a few hiccups (none that we couldn't work around) it was a great success. We raised almost £1,000 :T and I am waiting to hear if the company will match it (fingers crossed!) The money will be going to a local childrens hospice :)

    Money news

    Sadly no OP's to report
£5 gift voucher received as payment for a fragrence product test
£3 gift voucher received for a different survey payment

I've been making a list this morning of what I still need to get for Xmas pressies. It's not bad and I'm close to being finished. The rest will have to wait until payday next week.

Very little time for reading.... :o and even less time for reading other peoples diaries on here :o... I will try and catch up a bit this weekend

    Have a great weekend

    BW :)

Well done on the charity event. That sort of thing is hard work, but good fun, and very satisfying afterwards when the effort pays off with lots of money being raised

Having a very lazy day today...not actually left the house (not even into the garden!) However I felt it was needed so I could mentally 'catch my breath' after the last few weeks of madness.

    I did bake a choccie cake.. 10695.png anyone want a slice? :p

Guess no one wanted any cake then :(

I've just got back from a 2 day conference. Feeling pretty weary so an early night is looking likely

Have OP'd £4.46 which is made up of £3 PC payment and £1.46 cashback.

    Payday tomorrow :j
