Ooh, AnWsmum, you've not gone yet, have a fab and well deserved holiday and happy ripping!
Lil_me, you've had a busy one with little and not so little maggots. Well done for winning the food war though. And well done, Kazmeister for recruiting reinforcements in the bedroom war!
Newmrslockwood, happy new coat! Maybe move onto his shoes next if you've got your eye on some fab new ones.. (wonder if that would work?)

I'm feeling less fragile now :D
I had a quick scoot around, tidying up. Just finished toad in the hole and mash and gravy. Mmmm, when only comfort food will do.. And the smell of cinammon in the breakfast muffins is wafting through; can't wait for them to cool. And they rose which is a first for me!

Saturday night tv is a bit bleak, I've missed too many Casualtys to know who's who now. I might do some ripping myself, not had much success previously but I have new software now.

Have a quiet (but useful of course) evening.

Just came to check to see if everyones ok. We have had the floods down here and it has been awful. Friday was Graduation and it was absolutely throwing it down. We then came out and found everywhere was under a foot of water. College has been shut off - entrances flooded so you cant get in or out. I had to wade to get to my house (was a sight in my posh skirt tucked into my knickers!) and friends have been flooded. Fortunately im down and then up a hill so am ok.

Will catch up soon, just wanted to check everyones ok and i must go entertain the parents that are still here as they are stuck not able to get back north. Roads are not so flooded but the abandoned cars are the problem!!

Grrrrrrrrrr what a nightmare these tax credit forms are, even worse due to change in circumstances. Not helped by trying to complete them just before going on hols!

Done estimates for now, will have to double check when we get back.

Right I HAVE to go as batteries are running out on the mouse, ink has run out on the printer (keeping copies of the returns) and I have almost run out of time and patience!

Take care all, will catch up when we return :D byeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Aimee sorry to hear about the flooding where you are, I am sure I would have done the same if I was wearing posh clothes too! Hope your parents manage a safe journey soon.

    AnW'sMum have a great time.

Casualty is my weekly me time, kids I think know by now they will be snarled at if they interupt! Been watching That's what I call Television, Bradley Walsh had me in kinks. Now watching the Dragon's Den revisted, that fella with the sauce I've been trying to buy for ages is on :rotfl: all those saying he wouldn't make it!

    Good evening,

Hope you are all ok, this flooding everywhere is just awful. I can just cry seeing those pictures of peoples houses on tv, I feel so sorry for them all

I am a bit worried as well, we are driving to Skegness next week to Butlins, me doing all the driving, I hope we won't get stuck because of the floods,

I don't know what got into me today.. I have done lots:

Both DD rooms, dusting, tidying, collecting socks from the floor, hoovering, beds
    bathroom
    caught up with the washing
I took a notion to clean out all 4 kitchen drawers, shock horror! took ages but now lovely and organised and clean
went out for pub meal to treat DD1 before her little sister comes back tomorrow
    took DH for haircut
    put breadmaker on timer
    played game with DD2

I feel like I have achieved something

Lil-Me the Maggot story made my skin crawl, you were so brave to handle them, I would have cleaned them up as well, (no choice really, is there?)but not without shuddering and making puking noises...

AnW'sMum - hope you got the taxcredit forms all sorted out, they are a pain this is the first year they have got it right with us and our circumstances don't change that much.

Happy today as sun shining (for how long havent a clue) so WM on and will hopefully be able to try the new iron today !! Deffo NOT doing any cleaning today, kids can do the dailies and apart from Roast lunch I wont be doing a long. Think I've earnt a rest.

So to all those flooded or having bad times or poorlies, :grouphug: wish we could help in some way, to all you flyers have a great day.
