Hello all you lovely flyers
I thought I better say "HI"to all my "old" flylady friends and Welcome to all newbie flying friends....
I have been reading just feel too ashamed to post because the flying starts of great on Monday and Tuesday, but by Wednesday it has all gone by the wayside. I try to keep up with dailies. My excuse is that my kids have been off school for 3 weeks now, the weather has been awful here with a bit of sunshine now and then, rain again today..
Today however I am in the mood for flying high, so far I have:
Bought Harry P book for DD1
Changed bedding in DD2 room who is coming back from Denmark tomorrow (can't wait to see her, missed her like mad this week), dusted, tidied and hoovered.
Took DH for haircut
Made bread
Cleaned out kitchen cupboard and checked all my flour after reading on this forum about beasties living in flour, thank goodness didn't find any
Want to do:
hoover downstairs
tidy kitchen
shopping for tonights tea, big Asda shop delivery tomorrow (free del. voucher)
tackle DD1 bedroom (hopefully with help from her, bought her HP as a bribe)
ironing
washing
Have a good day everyone and happy holidays!

Hi,
Just popping in to say hello and that I've not done a single thing since Thursday evening. A mad dash out after work on Friday for a meet up with old school pals and a little fragile still.
I hope all of you with flooding problems are ok. poohbear, sounds like you just got away with it. I heard a man had died bailing out his cellar in the town where some friends live in Cumbria. And friends in Worcs aren't having much fun either. This summer is just awful.
I hope those of you with poorly children are coping too. Not the best start to the hols.
Going to try and pull myself together in a while and at least tidy up and make food. I'm at work in the morning 'til lunchtime, the weekend just isn't long enough..One debt v 100 days Part 14 £400/£400

Very quiet on here today.
Well son got off fine, He text me when he got there to say that he had met his sister. It was strange seeing him go off with his suitcase:o. He took some of the blueberry muffins with him, so a very happy bunny there!
I went off to town with DH and he treated me to a nice new coat. I've been wearing his, even though it buries me, because the zip bust on my winter coat and with this weather i really needed one. I got a nice lilac one with a fleece inside, It was half price so moneysaving even though it was still quite dear:o Quite chuffed though because I usually have to make do with primark cheapies( Not that primark not good but nice to be treated!)
Nothing to declare

I wonder how many blueberry muffins were left when he got there newmrslockwood :rotfl: nice treat for you, I got a coat for my birthday last year and I swear it was just because he was sick of me wearing his
Solwaykid hope you had a good time even if you're feeling a little 'delicate' at the mo.
mumoftwo thought you may have been busy as I remembered the Scottish schools finish and return earlier than ours. Sounds like you've more than caught up managing all that today.
Right, not much achieved so far but have won the food battle with DS1, he keeps starting a meal then refuses it and wants something else. So this time from 4pm I have said no what is left is there, I will reheat it if you need it done but you're getting nothing else until it's gone2 and a bit hours later he's now finishing it
I will win eventually on this and stop giving in, no matter how much he annoys me.
Have had to kick kids out of the garden, was nice so I let them in to play and they started damaging stuff and going near the pond/trying to catch the fish. I did tell them once but they persisted and were thrown out
I suppose I best do a little more before I put the boys to bed, after striking through what I have done I'm quite pleased with what I have achieved considering also spent a lot of time with the boys etc too, think the list will become a weekend list. One day I might be more organised...........

Evening all.
What have I been up to to today.
Well managed to get the children to do their list of chores which is basically half my dailies done. DId meal plan last night and shopped this morning, altho OH came with me and of course food shopping was twice as much as last week. Managed to get a couple of pairs of summery trousers on sale for my holiday. Then spent most of the afternoon helping DD tidu her room until I got cross as she was lounging on the bed. I shouted - she yellow then red carded me so I was off. Spent the next 3/4 hour on sofa with beginning of migraine  and then made spag bol for tea. Went down extremely well, dishwasher all loaded and on rinse as not full and now taking 5 mins out before going to help DD again as OH as said she cant go on holiday unless she does it and that he will stay at home with her ! oops.
Oh also posted parcel that has been on my list for too many days  £26 for a shoebox to France. Wont be putting that amount of lovely smellies in next time
Off again now to tidyMortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -
Sounds like you at least have your DHs backing which is great Kaz, mine was in a horrid mood tonight before work so he can naff off
Anyway, what a nightmare I've just had, thought would be prepared and sort DS1s fishing stuff for tomorrow, part of me is glad I did because of what I found but ARGH!! DP had left sandwiches there from last week which STANK!! Then the maggots had escaped, half of them had started turning, just went to sort them through when DS2 fell down the stairs (outside) and knocked the lot flying! I think I got them all up, picked the ones that had turned out, put the lid on and back in the box. Some were not saved, shovelled them up and have triple bin bagged them, urgh! I hate them to start of with so this was just a horrid thing for me, have coped but they have made me feel ewwwy and itchy!
Just sent the boys to bed but they of course are not asleep yet, have told them they best get to sleep, I don't want to be interupted throughout casualty. One day I might be more organised...........
