    Shell hope you’re feeling better
Shirley, really sorry to hear about you loosing your Gran, thinking of you x
Galantvr4 congratulations on becoming an Aunty, that is some size baby!
Grannynise hope the performance goes well :) **passes spare hanky**

Came in and read but then felt shocking as I’d done none of the living room so have dashed around with the vacuum cleaner and duster, at least that is done now.

Positive note spent the morning at the dentists and have now got on of the offending teeth fixed (snook in to DPs appointment and he refused to be seen so I could be instead) then went to Ikea to get some storage things. Some for DPs new 'hole' and some for the kitchen aswell. All was great until the numbing injection has worn off and now I'm in flippin agony and eating pain relief like sweeties. He did say might get worse before it gets better pain wise :( Oh I got one of those standing up fans today aswell, absolute bliss, DP said probably the best £12 we've spent this year :rotfl: Got the boys some bags for going back to school aswell :o starting early but they were very cheap (£1.50)and included drinks bottles which we'll use over the hols. Just have to put them somewhere safe this time and hope I remember where they are in September :rotfl: :o

Anyway, have filled some of the storage, top of the FF looks so much better, couple of things DP has left to build which will get done possibly some time this century. Living room barely touched but doesn't look too bad, will give it another going over after I have picked the boys up who are at the evening performance, will do tomorrows list then aswell.

Right best go get ready and walk down to collect the boys, who will no doubt be starving now as they just had a snack before returning to school, I'll be back after dinner, ish, to do tomorrows list.
One day I might be more organised...........

    Hello hello!

I'm going to do the briefest of flights around the livingroom 'cos I'm just itching to do some more of the bathroom floor. Borderlakland, so far it's been easy peasy (don't want to speak too soon), give it a whirl!
Congratulations Aunty Galantvr, that's some sized baby!
Welcome to the thread Amandaj, hope you find it useful.
Glad you got the tooth sorted out Lil_me, seems to have been niggling for a long while.
Hugs and pats on the back to anyone who needs one today.

Off to chew the end of a pencil and suck through my teeth while I ponder the tricky bits. Catch you all later. Have a good evening.

Re the vinegar and soda crystals. I just put the white vinegar into the fabric condition section (2nd level) soda crystals about half a cup (at a guess) stick it on 90 degree on the quick wash selection.

I'm going to make some jam buns as seen on the school hols thread.

Due to my self-imposed 'sugar' ban, I am only allowed sweets if I make them myself. But no chocolate at all (headaches)

Might just go through the baking cupboard while I'm at it.

Come to think of it, I have to get all cought up before Saturday, new Harry Potter book is out and it will be glued to my nose! LOL!:rotfl:

I have not looked at the lists I'm afraid.
    But have been busy nonetheless.

you see, a few many years ago, the Mother Goddess gave a small plum tree the chance to grow big and strong in my father's back garden.
Every year it yealds wonderful, delicious plums.

This year was very generous however. 37(!) big jars of Jam were made.
30 liters of Juice is fermenting into wine. And that's when my dad called me: 'Do you want some plums?"

he showed up on my doorstep with aprox. 20 kilo's!!

I'm well stocked on Jam. (he brought some jars as well) and so far I've made a good few liters of Juice. (long live the juicer!)

But what am I going to do with another HUGE bucket full of plums! Delicious as they are, there is only so many that you can eat!

    Plum anyone?

    :rotfl:

Wish I lived closer Becca, we love plum jam. I remember Austrian friends of ours used to make plum schnapps, that was lethal stuff!!

Tomorrows list done, posted it when I was upstairs but then the PC went iffy so have had to come down and use laptop to say I've done it :rotfl:

Washing in to hang out in morning, as long as it doesn't rain, see if I can get a reds wash in then the machines free to do our bed linen tomorrow. Only one thing on tomorrow hopefully which is the boys afternoon performance (diddy hall so they do 2 and the younger kids do 2 seperate ones) So anything that needs doing tomorrow will have to be done on the morning.
One day I might be more organised...........
