    morning all

    the thread had almost slipped to the second page - you must all be busy!!

    i'm tired this morning, but its my own fault i guess, for staying up late. am picking my dad up in half an hour and i'm still in pjs but i guess he'll have to wait! will fly later as gotta spend the day with dad. am showing him the new hotel for the reception as well as other things!

    not sure how to entertain my dad for the whole day - and tomorrow! he can be quite hard work and walks very slow!!! don;t get me wrong its nice to see him, though. just hard to know what to do as the weather's not great.

    oh well. hugs to all who are in need (can't remember all the names and i don't wanna miss anyone out!)

    Tuesday Living Room, Hall and Stairs

    Level 1

    Vacuum floors and sofas
    Level 2
    Dusting, even if around everything
    Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe
    Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets
    Level 3
    Wipe light switches and banisterVacuum under furniture (only if you won't hurt yourself doing it, don't want any injuries)
    Extra Mission:
    Pick one or more of the following tasks –
    • Clear one hotspot, 10 minutes on my desk
    • Get quote (and points) from Tesco
    • Pay M&S bill
    • 15 minutes gardening
    • S&S
    • 15 minutes packing

    Good Morning! I've been a lurker for ages and I thought it was time to join in! I was going to go back and read all the threads but that would take ages so I've printed off the lists for yesterday and today and will just start from here!

    Morning all

    One load of washing done and hung upstairs.

    Done level 2 for today plus moved stuff off two shelves and cleaned items and shelves. Also vacuumed the lampshade.

    Vacuumed through hallway and kitchen too and then up the stairs.

    My uncle died this morning. I hope my mother and I will be able to travel down togther as I'm due to go there at the weekend with the 4Dks this weekend anyway.

    [/strike]jus tmoved one sofa and one arm chair today - will try and do this in rotation
    Extra Mission:
    Pick one or more of the following tasks –
    • Clear one hotspot, or just spend at least 5 minutes tackling it
    • Clear one shelf, dust and replace items after giving them a wipe over
    • [strike]Clean windows in these rooms, or even just one [/strike]Tackling the big french window- may take several weeks to gewt the frame really clean as its been so long neglected.
    • [strike]Using the idea Shirley suggested, get yourself a bag or box, go around collecting things that are not in the place they should be, then put them back where they should be. [/strike]
    Additional tasks
    • write to my Aunt and cousins
    • make chocolate cakes for teachers
    • make granola for breakfast tomorrow
    • make italian flat beds for DKs tea to go with salad nicoise
    • finish mine and DHs tax forms - give them to DH to photocopy before sending off
    • Sort out alll 3 DSs kit for their summer camp and put the un-named one in a naming pile
    • 15 mionute on DISGUSTING kitchen french window
    • clean cutlery drawer
    • 15 minutes on paperwork pile
    • change our bed
    • change DD bed and flip matress
    • water pots
    That's too much isn't it? We're out tonight for dinner as well and I never get all that much done once the DKs are home.

    Morning all - late start today.

    Welcome to all newbies, the more the merrier. Hugs to all those who have suffered losses or illness (ice cream for those with sore throats :D ). And well done to all those already hard at it.

    My list to do

    Manic Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Clean oven if you didn’t do it last week - Still his job
    Sort through one cupboard, emptying it, wiping it out and wiping items before putting them back

    Post parcel to Emilie old au pair - tried 3 times this am. 1st PO late opening today, then went back and queue half way round building so took to sorting office. They cant take it as scales dont weigh heavy enough Grrrrr :mad:

    Hair appointment at 2.30
    Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

    Thought all you guys could do with some good news! Sis has came through her C-section with no probs and a bouncing baby boy!!:j

    You'll never believe this.. 10lbs 11oz!!!! Good job she did have a section is all I can say!!

    Life really is swings and roundabouts, hope this brings a smile to those who need one

    Shirleypark - sorry to hear about your loss, take care of yourself - sending hugs.

    Throat still sore here but littles are both ok now so thats the main thing. DD1 back to preschool today (although i could have done without the walk).

    So I have managed to force myself to:-

    Preschool run
    Shopping - only needed a few bits
    S&S kitchen
    Degunk WM draw
    Run 90 degree wash with soda crystals and vinegar
    Mop kitchen, bathroom & hall floors
    hoovered thorough
    S & S lounge
    S & S Bathroom
    Fed littles lunch. I tried to eat a tuna roll and just couldnt face it!

    Thats about it. Have rejigged meal plan and its now fishfingers, HM oven chips and peas & sweetcorn (Beans for dh). Am also trying to reschedule driving lesson from this evening to Thursday.

    Waitingn for thortons choccies I ordered for teachers at preschool to arrive, also had email from m&s to say DD1 uniform has been dispatched.

    Right off for 10 min read.
