    My first proper go!

Tuesday Living Room, Hall and Stairs
    Level 1
    Vacuum floors and sofas
    Level 2
    Dusting, even if around everything
Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe
Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets
    Level 3
    Wipe light switches and banister
    [STRIKE]Tidy shoes, coats and bags[/STRIKE]
Vacuum under furniture (only if you won't hurt yourself doing it, don't want any injuries)
    Extra Mission:
Pick one or more of the following tasks –
    • Clear one hotspot, or just spend at least 5 minutes tackling it
    • Clear one shelf, dust and replace items after giving them a wipe over
    • Clean windows in these rooms, or even just one
    • Using the idea Shirley suggested, get yourself a bag or box, go around collecting things that are not in the place they should be, then put them back where they should be.
[STRIKE]Sort out car insurance[/STRIKE] I never knew it was so complicated!
[STRIKE]get back log of washing dried somehow![/STRIKE] Luckly it waas dry and sunny and I was hanging washing out at 8am, go me!
    [STRIKE]Get old car on ad-trader[/STRIKE]
get a nice box for PC desk for all the cables etc
    Post keyrings
    Hoover old car
    Ironing

so, just after my coffee, I make a proper start! I need it after that car insurance thing! Plus I ate too much thick minestrone soup and I feel sick if I bend over....

Would anyone believe me if I said I'd rather give birth to a 14lb baby than have another c section? lol

    Did my hall...

I scrubbed the hall stairs! And scrubbed one door, the bathroom door. I'm so ashamed, I have not once cleaned those doors since moving in, 5 YEARS AGO! All woodwork scrubbed, light switches and the window.

    Discovered what stardrops can do!

Also cleaned bathroom, cleaned up kitchen - just got some dishes to do...

So then time for a coal miners wash, make up on and get into town before shops shut.

    add to list,

Get clear varnish for over not-so-clever-idea-of-egg shell-paint-in-hall. :rotfl:

Can't wait to hear what she has galantvr4 - bet you're so excited.

I've not looked at the list yet so will do that now in the half hour before school pick up. DS is on school trip to the beach today and it's storms here so I hope it's ok in Wales.

Edited to include (because I hadn't read the last page of the thread) - brilliant about the little boy galantvr4, that's quite a weight!!

Nearlynewbie - hugs to you too xx

Well I am run ragged today...

I was at college this morning.. last one.. unless I enrol again in September.. this afternoon I have spent 2 hours trying to find childcare for tiddles for Friday morning and noone can/will have her.. she isn't THAT bad really lol. I have a meeting at school with DS1 to sort out his college place which his tutor is a pill-lock and thinks he has the authority to kick him off the course.. that should be fun!

My RSI is BAD this week.. and my friend came down at the weekend with her hubby and their respective germs and now I have a sore throat so the chances are I've caught their colds and will wind up with tonsilitis like I usually do.. I'd cry now but it hurts too much.

Todays list... though I'm not doing too good at it!!

mmmmm quick I need to know the tooth fairy's real name! Also do you think there is a tooth fairy queen?

My DD wrote a letter to her the other day and left it under her pillow and she is waiting for a reply!!!!!!!!! :o

When she lost a tooth on 23rd Dec and left it under her pillow she was most disgusted on Christmas Eve to find it still there! BUT when we looked on email the tooth fairy had left an email saying how she had been helping Father Christmas load his sleigh and that she would be round that night for any teeth ;) On Christmas morning there was a shiny £1 coin and a pressie from the tooth fairy.

The reply to this latest letter needs to be in place by 4pm

Just received my parcel with the storage boxes and magazine rack i ordered at the weekend, so i am now happy as i wasn't expecting it tomorrow. I'm having a physically tough day as monkey man is forever climbing up me or patting the cats rather too hard. I had to hoover with one hand as the other was holding him up, so i feel rather tired and achey. I've just put him down again for a sleep, although i can hear he hasn't dropped off yet, so thought i would have a minute and a catch up on here.

    Tuesday 17/07:
Manic Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Level One
    [STRIKE]Clean floors[/STRIKE]
    Level Two
Clean cupboard door fronts and the front of appliances
Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front
Dust any extra furniture in dining room, checking for cobwebs on way round
    Level Three
    Wipe dining table
Wipe window sills, clean any marks off windows if required
    Extra Mission
    Choose one or more of:
    • Clean out the freezer, I find the vacuum cleaner is good for getting up any crumbs in the bottom or stray peas etc. Defrost it if it needs it.
    • Sort through one cupboard, emptying it, wiping it out and wiping items before putting them back

AnW's Mum, have a look at this site

    Has printable certificates and letters.

The tooth fairy doesn't have a name, but comes from a cross between a story called ''La Bonne Petite Souris'' when a good queen asks a mouse to help her defeat the evil king. The mouse hides under the kings bed and knocks out all his teeth! And, popular Mythology involving a mixture of evil creatures stealing children's bones being made to settle for teeth only if a silver coin is given in exchange and a few others, mostly involving feeding the teeth to mice...
