"Is it worth paying more for 20mb fibre ?"
20 mili bits is the slowest I have ever come across - did you intend to say 20 Mb which is 1,000,000,000 times faster ?0 -

Correction, they also operate in Reading, Cardiff, Bristol, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, Glasgow, Newcastle, Sheffield, Birmingham and Nottingham. Hyperoptic generally like to roll out to flats (where the return will be bigger).0 -

Thanks for that. I too thought they were London only.0 -

I recently got Hyperoptic Fiber Broadband at my flat and I've been really impressed with it. I got the 20mb deal and am very happy with it considering BT couldn't provide fiber broadband to the property I'm renting.
They run a "refer and friend" scheme whereby me and the "friend" get £50 credit to our accounts. All I need for this is a first name, last name and email address, so if anybody wants to sign up to Hyperoptic and would like £50.00 credit on your account, please don't hesitate to private message me with your details0 -

Not spam, but in the wrong place.
There is a whole board dedicated to this http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.php?f=420 -
I'm moving in a couple of months to a property with no Hyperoptic service.
I joined Hyperoptic 7weeks ago and believed it was a monthly not a 12 term contract.
How can I get out of it without having to keep paying for another 9 months after moving?
I'm not happy with their service and wanted to cancel last week as the connection is sometimes slow and they still haven't ported my Sky number after 7 weeks despite numerous calls and having filled the porting request form 2ce before installation.
I've been going back and forth on that point but it now seems I will be moving house.
On what basis can I cancel successfully?
Thank you.0 -
Successfully cancel by paying the balance of the 12 month contract .
Or by going through their complaints process and they eventually agree to let you go FOC or not .
Check what you actually signed up for .
As per the web site 12 months or
Broadband Only and No Contract plans also available.0 -
They cancelled the contract as they didn't live up to their promise to have me transferred.0
