Thanks all, I am doing props for this production so I can't disappear off the job, although I did come close last night with the director who would not let it be!

I had a quiet day including a weekly massage, which did me good but was rather painful at the time.

During production week tea and coffee ( and biscuits ;)) are provided so i avoid the bar where i would have to pay pennies.

    Therefore another NSD :T:T

For me its been another NSD :j

However for the household rather an  day, had to get the local window company to replace the lock on one of our flood doors - not guaranteed, its snapped only 18 mths old. £250 .

Also tried to renew my passport but couldn't get a good enough photo...

Spend the day getting up to date with my continued professional development - reading etc of my professional magazines etc.

Freezer dinner of spaghetti bolognese for tea.

First night of play, and too much chocolate and biscuits to tempt me. Lovely to have OH there to video, if the director wound me up I could find him for a hug.

Home for nightcap and bed. Four in a bed with our grey friends :rotfl:

Yes very :(. We were part of the Department of the Environment flood protection, as we are about 100 yards from the Thames and back on to the flood plain. So we had two new sets of patio doors. which were sold as special flood proof doors. I would add they were fitted for free.
However when the lock snapped and we phoned the providers there guarantee was for a year and wanted £250 just for a call out fee.

Therefore we called the local window company, who when the recession hit, offered a repair service which we have taken advantage of before. They have a policy repair rather than replace.

The young lads were great, and had to take the glass out of the panel to get to the lock. They commented they were ordinary doors and not great quality:(.

Frankly the whole process was farcical and lots of money spent by the government on very poor service and products.

However in brighter news the door opens and closes which has pleased the older cat "Big Boy" whose bowls are in front, and does not wish to cross the 10 steps to the back door which has been the alternative since before Christmas. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: ( Yes I am a maid and open it for him)

A late start :j as OH has finished jury service and took the day off as he was very tired.

It was great to have a quiet day at home, pottering around doing chores, and sorting Admin.

We booked our New Year's Eve holiday to Southwold again, with some bonus money :T:T it was about £10 cheaper than last year as the change over day is later and therefore finishes later in the first week of Jan :T

We ate from stores, and only ventures out in the evening for AmDrams!

Also watched up with a friend who I had lost touch with, but rung as her Mum had died, a sad reason that made us contact each other, but hopefully this will begin a new chapter of seeing each other.

    Personal NSD for me :T:T
