Ta Beanielou, I reflected on the sentence "New people will come into my life when I least expect it and they'll be exactly what I need."
You are one of those and other on MSE as it is so comforting to know there are those out there who walk in similar footsteps that can empathise.
Hope you have no fallen in the last 24hrs and are feeling better

If you can share a few laughs with someone during the course of your day then that's good, it doesn't matter whether they're close friends or not. Take each day for what it is and enjoy it. Life is too short to analyse it.

Thanks SA appreciate your words, although perhaps would slightly disagree with the last sentence.I prefer the word reflect, and it is the way I manage my mental wellbeing, so I can verbalise my emotions, bring clarity and move on. Works for me...

Morning all... realise I am a tad behind with my diary.....
Last Wednesday I decided to focus on getting myself back out into the world via volunteering, ironically what i would be advising clients to do in my position, but not doing it myself.
So firstly I contacted one of the food banks who kindly donated to Christmas Day, about the left over tins in my garage and whether they needed any weekly volunteers. currently they have enough, still a fruitful conversation as we agreed how I would deal with the surplus in the garage and I found I could help them by taking the items that are about to expire but have no homes to go to, to the nearest homeless shelter which is 10 miles away but where my dad lives. Now I thought I could pop in and see him, but no he is out ! hey ho
Then I decided to put my nomination paper into be a foundation trust governor for the local mental health NHS trust, it took all day but I was very pleased with what I had put, nominations close on the 9th March, so will see how man people are standing for my area.
All in all a satisfactory day, which was rounded of by OH and I making cowboy pie, with quorn and loads of veg left over in the fridge, there was also one portion I could freeze for when he's away at the end of the month.
We were suppose to go to church to see a faith and film night Shelma but OH was late in from work and I was tired, so a night with a bit of TV catch up and knitting. As a dear MSE friend says “keep plodding” or

A quiet day at home, now I really can't remember any details except...
1. sports massage at home
2. OH did the village run and cooked my favourite for tea sausages together with the remaining vegetables.
3. My chronic fatigue levels were reasonably high and we were going away for the weekend. As a dear MSE friend says “keep plodding” or

We have had a lovely weekend away visiting friends in Yorkshire. We agreed it was great to get away from home turf, even if today I am feeling completely shattered.
OH had the day off on Friday, we packed a picnic breakfast and headed up to Chatsworth for a cheeky lunch at a favourite haunt the farm shop. It was a glorious spring day
We were not planning to go into the house and grounds but made a bit of a detour to drive through the park, see the restoration work being done.
Yummy lunch looking over the park, and a few goodies picked up for ourselves and our friends, before heading onwards to Shipley.
Lovely relaxed evening at home catching up....
Saturday was raining and dismal but we ventured out to the local steam railway and lunch at a garden centre, where I found I was not tempted with any bits and bobs shopping.
OH did come home with onions and garlic for the allotment and some flower seeds to I hope fill our raised beds in the garden.
In the evening was a trip for a Bradford curry, we were going in a taxi  I thought however it cost £4 the same distance here would be about £12!!!. As the curry house was muslim owned it was BYO alcohol all in all it was far cheaper than we would pay for a similar night out here. which is why we don't do it.
Sunday after seriously good waffles Canadian style... ( one of our hosts is Canadian). made with a serious waffle machine. We headed home... I was shattered and glad OH could drive.
We ended up having a cheeky McDee's in a services which was much cheaper than the other options available to us and secretly we enjoy!
On arrival home, I collapsed with a cat on my lap, to watch Casualty, Death in Paradise and Call the Midwife..... the latter - despite being before the watershed, they are tackling some really challenging subjects this series....
Oh the relief of going to bed, with my lovely very supportive mattress, even if we decided to let the cats in..... :rotfl: not tonight, thanks Gummydrops for the 4.30am alarm call.As a dear MSE friend says “keep plodding” or

Its been a busy week, and with a few minutes to catch my breath... will at least manage Monday.
Which was rather a write off as I was so tied from the weekend, managed to plod through the day doing admin.
OH got a cooked chicken from the butchers reduced by more than half price, so indulged in cold meat, mash potatoes and pickles for tea.
Did make it to the parochial church meeting and of course added my two pennyworth of thought....As a dear MSE friend says “keep plodding” or
