    Intro

£55 is budgeted to me as "pocket money" account each week, this needs to cover, social life, clothes, make up, hobbies etc.

This week I have used the £55

    1. Repay joint credit card - 10th Anniversary celebrations £10
    2. Transfered £10 to an e saver - aim to pay of magnifying mirror (£40)bought to DIY facial hair and save money in long run
    3. Paid my Borrow My doggy annual subscription £9.99
    4. Paid Netflix subscription - £7.49 ( this is going to be stopped)
    5. Paid joint account for £10 voucher to a friend who had a rotten birthday

I have spent via joint account - so owe next week:

    £3 - Big issue
    £2 - metal poppy

trip to london to osteopath, I took a flask of coffee, breakfast, and only bought lunch at Waterloo, tea and a baguette ( rather than the posher lunch I normally treat myself to)

travel, lunch and cost of treatment paid by joint. Now use the bus so no taxi cost

£5.45 - very small cable knitting needle to finish project - far too small - need to send back !!!!

PJ's - to be paid from joint - as my Christmas present

Good idea to give yourself a pocket money budget. I got a knitted poppy this year, got fed up of buying paper ones only to lose a day later!

    Morning all

Sitting here reflecting on Beanielou's wise words "It is what it is". Having been unwound by the oestopath, it has reignited the lurgy and congestion, I have a lovely chesty cough !

    Finance update

Wednesday - NSD, Amazon refunded knitting needle and said no need to return, need to learn to make baby booties in the round!

Thursday - Grey hairs minimised by Hairdresser paid for by Daddy :T:j
Two cards re my bookkeeping services in two shop windows £4.80 2 weeks and 4 weeks respectively! ( Now praying I might get some response)

Friday ( today) all "doings" outside home cancelled, meeting, Borrow my Doggy and a girls night out with the neighbours - due to congestion and chesty cough dominating my life today.

Must admit although I sort of was looking forward to going out with the girls, I wasn't a) they are all senior managers and so cost of evening would not be a worry for them ( but was to me - probably nearly £50 as they would split the bill equally) b) they do drink so we would get through bottles.... and now despite enjoying a glass or two I don't want to get blotto c) I have an embroidery course tomorrow which was 1) expensive 2) need to be awake for...

Here's hoping I get a bite re bookkeeping, we have our joint credit card debt listed as individual items on a spreadsheet, to remind ourselves what we are spending on. So my focus is on the top of the list £308.75 for a hotel bill........:A

    Morning All

    Its been funny old week:

Friday - good evening on my own

Saturday - Good day at embroidery. But when I got home I felt guilty at not supporting the neighbour who had invited me, and well i ended upon my reindeer once and a bottle of cava in hand. It was a good evening until OH came home !!!!3d from the rugby, decided to join us ( Her OH was away) and with a couple of "innocent" remarks made me feel worthless. I came home and well curled up on the sofa for a few hours.

Although we have a spare bed, when we have "words" we don't use it, rather sleep on sofa till dawn = cold and go back to bed!

Sunday was a slow day - but I did manage to finish 75 innocent smoothie hats

Monday - kept my head down working on community stuff and then went out to Shepperton Players - it was a funny day, OH went to a funeral for an ex colleague aged 49 and someone well known at players had died in her mid forties

Tuesday - Morning was fine, then afternoon with Mr Borrow My Doggy which well.....

    I need a coffee first.....
