    Morning all

I hope you all had a good BH weekend.

    Catch up:

Friday - round trip to get my Dad to cat sit, while trying to reverse into his drive to pick up a chair - I reversed into a brick post :eek: in my defence he up a private road on a hill and its tight not helped by him looming into my sight at the crucial moment. Fortunately dear OH told me it matched the other side. :o

We then set off for Bury St Edmunds and I realised that we had left certain things behind :eek: and stopped in Mr W at South Mimms :eek::eek::eek::mad::mad::mad:. We usually take a picnic with us, but we were so disorganised I ended up paying 95p for a small bag of Square Crisps :mad:

    Really learnt my lesson!

Good evening with OH cousins but we did share the takeaway cost and then the next night pub meal with inlays same again....

It was our time to travel up, but could have done without the cost.... including Bressingham Steam Museum on Saturday afternoon... which was good fun, and we were "doing" out in the air

Home Sunday lunchtime, and darling Daddy treated us to lunch ( relief)

There is a an assumption that OH is on a good salary and can afford it, despite me not working, of course nobody knows about the debt :(:(:(.

    Yesterday was spent productively.....

    My Blessings:

    1. Catching up with family
    2. Daddy Cat Sitting
    3. Bressingham Steam Museum

We had a day of sorting bits at home....

    1. Garage is now very tidy, with a small pile for the tip (awaiting rainy day with no queue )
    2. My car full up with charity donations
    3. Mother in Laws tongue - repotted and looking much healthier (in door pot allowed)
    4. One patio rose repotted from plant pot to Garden Wall - getting rid of pots! - as can't manage watering
    5. Litter box changed!

    BH Meal treats was:

Mini Quiche Chips and peas from freezer
    Sausage and roasted veg
Finished up ice-cream and mini millionaires shortbread :rotfl:

We have only a few bits of veg left for tonights tea :T:T. First time, we have no left over veg before buying more ( we cancelled our box for this week)

    Shopping

Well Mr W was not a great option on Friday
£2 voucher used in C@@p on Sunday and got two yellow label items
Mr Oc@do arriving tonight and we have kept to the bare minimal,

We meal planned yesterday and are buying no protein this week.

We are getting to the stage where in the outside freezer we only have apples (from our tree) and bulk buy fish! In fact there is only a whole chicken to add to this.

Inside freezer, lamb chops, more fish, bananas and a few left overs - meals for one plus chips and peas!

We are eating healthy with the Fish..........

OH went out last night and having knitted through a midsummer murers and an indian summers, I retired to bed early with a book, via some diaries on here...

    Blessings:

    1. Energy to get a few jobs done
    2. OH cooked dinner and cleared up
    3. A lovely home to come back to

    Morning dear diary and friends

Having promised myself to start posting again, I have avoided doing so, I think as I am struggling with our current situation.

I am still not in any form of paid employment, and struggling in my head with long time chronic illness.

Note to self - as yet I have never gone through the ESA benefit process as OH salary would mean I would probably only get my NI paid, and I have enough NI contributions to get the full state pension.

We have a significant amount of debt between us, and I am conscious if I was working at my previous rate this would have disappeared before now.

We are both struggling to live on a more frugile lifestyle especially managing outside expectations, having a social life and my health needs.

I have just been involved in a play "Quartet" - if anyone saw the film with Maggie Smith a few years ago, Oprea singers in a retirement home - One character keeps reminding the others "NSP' remember "NSP" - No Self Pity"
This is what i keep saying to myself.....

So I know I have got to get a grip... and the diary will help me through.....
