Bloody Tesco bloody fuel bloody discount balls up

Got offered 2p litre off my fuel other day at tesco
The assistant didnt know whether this would accumulate
I havent clue what she on about so left it
Getting the gist that if I spend loads in store during the month I can get a big discount off my fuel
Yesterday I put £80 fuel in hoping for a big discount being near the end of the month
Woman says although I accumulated 17p per litre disc this month I cant have it because I still *have to spend* my 2p litre disc from last month
(Text removed by MSE Forum Team)
If they were discount tickets I would throw the 2p one in the bin
She said "you cant add them together"
I dont want to add them together - I want youto forget all about 2p discount I earned and dont want and give me my 17 discount
So I am actually being penalised because I spent some money with Tesco during April and instead of being rewarded I am being penalised with a 2p discount
Grrrrrrrrrrrr

Obviously ill have to write to tesco directly to get my 17p discount.

When will the "Edit" and "Quote" button get fixed on the mobile web interface?

The scheme is pretty simple to understand if you read the T&CsThis is an open forum, anyone can post and I just did !0

If that had happened to me, i'd have offered the next person in the queue the 2p off then paid for my own getting the 17p off.
If you were nicer to the assistants rather than rude they may have been more likely to find a way round it for you rather than trying to get you out the way ASAP.:j Trytryagain FLYLADY - SAYE £700 each month Premium Bonds £713 Mortgage Was £100,000@20/6/08 now zilch 21/4/15:beer: WTL - 52 (I'll do it 4 MUM)0 -

How did the woman know you had not spend last months discount?0

How long have you got left to spend the 17 p off?
Or do you have an enormous fuel tank on a lawnmower?
As bryanb says :-

If you still have the 2p on your clubcard it must expire end July, which means the 17p one expires end of August. Do you get through a tank of petrol in a month?I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. you might be correct it could be a good idea Tesco using trained chimps at the pumps so that they could explain the simple terms and conditions to the untrained chimps that go there to buy fuel that find it too difficult to understand leaving other staff to get on with serving the more pleasant intelligent customers.0

?
From your first post you sound like a completely awful customer to deal with and I feel sorry for the lady at the petrol station who had to put up with you.
As people have said the t&c's are very simple. Maybe if you bothered to actually read them you would have understood.0 -
You get the discount one month which is then available to use the next month. The 2p was from last month and next month you will have the 17p or indeed more as there are a few days still to spend.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.
I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -
