Had a bit of an old me; new me battle this morning. Old me wanted to stay in bed, new me wanted to get out for a run.
New me won out. Bit strange when you are arguing with yourself though.
I think I may need to invest in a bed that when my alarm goes off it dumps me on the floor. Then I am already out of bed. Until then I will have to rely on new me's motivational tools. That voice in your head that says you can’t do this is a LIAR!

Ok almost had a slip up tonight. Had a long, long day at work got caught in a torrential downpour so had to sit on a 45 min train journey in soaked clothing. So best to say I wasn't in the best of moods when I got home. To which I found that my husband hadn't defrosted sausages for my tea (he works nights and although I now realise it wasn't his fault) thought sod it got out the takeaway fried chicken menu wrote down my order and just stared at it for a few minutes. Then I thought how it would arrive and I would try to eat it as quickly as possible and then how much I would beat myself up about eating it. I decided it wasn't worth it and traipsed to the kitchen to find something else. That voice in your head that says you can’t do this is a LIAR!

Today's food and exercise
B: yoghurt and granola with a coffee
L: tried this Japanese restaurant that I have been dying to try for 4 yrs. had a sushi and tempura set with a miso soup and vegetable salad. And a plum wine. I thoroughly enjoyed it was well worth the 4yr wait.this was a rush job through the station as worked late again due to going on holiday. Had a smoked salmon and cream cheese sandwich from boots, tried a fruit yoyo? (Was horrible) and blueberry smoothie.
It was ok. Filled a hole. I am finding that I am deliberately looking at the food now rather than just grabbing something. That voice in your head that says you can’t do this is a LIAR!

I've enjoyed reading this post. Thanks for sharing your journey.
I weigh around 13st 12 ish and my new changes start tomorrow. I walk everywhere so need to add more exercise in than just that. I've been looking at various different ways of eating like Paleo etc.
I'm determined to change my ways for health reasons, I have problems with my ankles that my weight cannot be helping.

Hi homemademama, welcome. Once you make that decision it feels great knowing you have a plan of action doesn't it?
What changes have you decided on? I found doing little changes to be the most effective for me also I recently bought a pedometer which shows you just how much you walk around on a day to day basis. Once you have your average you can build up gradually especially if you enjoy walking. That voice in your head that says you can’t do this is a LIAR!
