Piglet to Gazelle - My weight loss journey

What I would say is, its worth trying to clean up your diet to the point where any sweet stuff like cake you have on an occasional basis. I know there are diets where people can eat treats on a limited basis, but personally, eating smaller amounts of the stuff that caused people to gain weight in the first place, doesnt teach you very much about proper nutrition.
You already eat a decent amount of fruit. Id swap the cake for a bit of fruit0 -
We have a lot of cake, biscuits etc in the office and every friday someone brings in a homemade cake. This is hard to resist but I do take note and this Friday I will not have any.
Generally I would say I don't have a sweet tooth but I am finding that since writing this down and people pointing this out is really helping me to focus on reoccuring patterns and where I am going wrong.
My goals for this week are to complete week 2 runs and two workout sessions. That voice in your head that says you can’t do this is a LIAR!

Food and Exercise for yesterday
B: 2 hard boiled eggs
L: LO Enchiladas and small tin of sweetcorn2 hard boiled eggs, 1 tbsp salad cream & small portion of HM Chilli
S: Apple, 150g Yoghurt, 1 tbsp dried cranberries, 5 almonds, 1 coffee
E:2 mile walk & took stairs twice
I am starting to find that I am not as hungry any more. This I can assume is down to me consuming more protein? That voice in your head that says you can’t do this is a LIAR!

I think I need to include a more detailed account into my food.
For example
Enchiladas - Chicken breast, Mix of red/green/yellow peppers, onions, bbq seasoning, ground chilli powder, topped with passata & cheese
Chilli - Lean mince, Garlic, chillies, onions, Mushrooms, tomatoes & peppers plus tinned toms or passata, ground coriander, tumeric, cumin, cinnamon, paprika, beef oxo cube
Would you say the veg ratio in these meals are ok? I tend to try for two cups of veg for every cup of meat roughly.
I get all my meat from a butcher so I know it is all good-quality. Trying to find the same for a fishmonger in the area that delivers. That voice in your head that says you can’t do this is a LIAR!

I try to pack as much veggies into my meals as possible as it is generally the only time my husband will eat them. He is very lazy when it comes to food and prefers reheated leftovers or ready packaged if left to his own devices.
I do tend to eat the below on an almost daily basis so I could expand on this.
Sweetcorn
Garlic
Onions
Mushrooms
Tomatoes (varying between tinned, passata, cherry, salad)
PeppersThat voice in your head that says you can’t do this is a LIAR!

What's wrong with sweet corn? I thought it was fiberous?
I say this as it's one of my favourite veg.
