This month I am working on home life balance i.e. balancing exercise, healthy eating alongside spending time with friends/husband/family, walking the dog etc. You get the idea.
So far it seems to be going well I am struggling to wake up exactly at 5am but it is slowly getting earlier that I feel awake. I am also doing more the previous evening to make the mornings run as smoothly as possible. My birthday is next month so I am looking forward to a cheat day with the hubby which is a nice goal to look forward to.That voice in your head that says you can’t do this is a LIAR!

I was supposed to be going for a run this day but I woke up and my old ankle injury was flaring up. I didn't want to push myself through a run in case I really hurt myself. My ankle had swollen slightly so I put my foot up to rest it, this was probably through pushing myself too far in my last workout session. That voice in your head that says you can’t do this is a LIAR!

My ankle was still feeling sore today and I ended up sleeping most of the afternoon as I was so bored. Thinking back I could have tried some weights in sitting/laying position. I tend to find I have more energy when I exercise and feel more tired when I don't.That voice in your head that says you can’t do this is a LIAR!

bib - i have a thin slice of apple on mine too (cut across the apple rather than an apple "chunk"). I really love cashew nut butter. I actually think i prefer nut butters to peanut butter now.
ETA - whilst on the subject of rice cakes - have you tried any of these?. Aldi currently have them in stock for 69p a pack i think.

Yes that does sound good!
So far I have just tried the Meridian peanut and cashew varieties and cashew is definitely my favourite. I am trying to get almond but I haven't seen that in a while. That voice in your head that says you can’t do this is a LIAR!
